She looked so scared of me. Her Hazel eyes where worried, was I really that terrifying? I walked over to her motionless body and rubed her arm. Maybe if she trusted me she would come without Eli being involved because we all knew what that meant,Death.

"A-are you g-gonna hurt m-me?" She questioned. "No doll, I won't hurt you, not agian." I said rubbing her back. She was sat on the couch and she was really scared, like I said before. I guess she must have trusted me because she curled up into my chest. I could only think of the things Eli would do to her when she reached the mansion. She was to pure for that but it was the only way to save her from a fate of death.

"Hey Brair, can I ask you something?" I asked softly. She nodded, her head still agianst my chest. "What's keeping you here in this town?" "N-nothing" she squeaked. "Then come with me, I'll explain on the way there. Okay?" "W-will you h-hurt me?" She asked so softly. "I would never." I began to stand up and go toward her window. "Come on grab my hand you'll be fine." I couldn't transform but I could still fly. It was a good thing it was night time. She grabbed my hand and I took off pulling her with me. She closed her eyes and when we finally arrived she didn't open them. I set her down gently in the center of my room. She sat there criss-cross for a while looking around. I could see the fear in her eye. I went and sat next to her and comforted her. "Hey listen this is the only way they wouldn't kill you. Listen you have to stay strong okay." She nodded and looked at my carpet playing with the tiny strands of material. "Listen I will tell you the basics before anyone finds out you are here." She nodded so I knew she was listening. "Behind that bed room door is 85% males. Not just any males, vampire males, so stay close to me at all times! You have to stay here and behave because I don't know what Eli will do to you. That's all I can say really, so are you ready?" She wipped away a tear and I grabbed her hand. In some since I felt it was my fault her life just got ruined and she would most likely be looked down apon by the others. I was kinda lying when I said the majority is males because in reality the females never stick around. So truthfully it's all males.

I gripped her hand tighter when she stood up and we walked down the hall to Eli's room. I opened the door and stepped in. The girl sheepishly stepped behind me and I could hear and feel her heart beat, every pound.

"Maxwell, my dearest friend have you returned with the girl." He said looking up from his desk. "Yes sir." I said firmly grabbing Brair's hand and squeezing it to comfort her. "Well come, come let me see the beauty." We walked over toward him and when we reached him I scooted her next to me. She was only 5 foot, for me and Eli it was like looking at a toddler, considering we where 6 foot 3 each she must have been terrified.

I got down to her level and whispered in her ear, "It's okay he won't hurt you doll, no one will as long as I am alive." She nooded and looked at him in his chair but still held onto my hand like her life depends on it.

"Aww Maxwell you've got a shy one. Why don't you step back a little so I can see her more." His smile grew evil. I was scared for her but I did as was told and stepped back and dropped her hand she squeaked something but it was hard to make out.

"Come here sweetheart." He said making a come here motion with his finger. She looked back at me and I nodded. He grabbed her waist and pulled her small fiqure close to him. "What's your name love?" He said close to her ear. "B-brair" she squeaked. "Beautiful eyes brair." I knew what he was doing. It wasn't about to be pretty.

"Brair close your eyes." I said speed walking to her side and kneeling down to her height and intertwining our fingers. She whimpered as Eli got out his pocket knife and brought the blade to her arm. I let her head rest on my shoulder as she looked away. "Do it quickly Eli." I said furious. This wasn't part of the deal. "Shhh, shhh don't cry Brair." I said as I realized tears where streaming down her face. Eli stuck the blade a little way in her arm just enough to draw blood but not cause an injury. He bottled the blood that dripped and set it aside. "You did so good Brair." He said almost laughing. I gave him stone cold eyes. "You can go now." I got up and saw the tears stream down more from her shut eyes. "Come on doll." I lead her out of the room and once on the other side of the door I hugged her so tight. "I'm so sorry." "Y-you said he w-wouldn't hurt me." She said. I rubbed her back to try and calm her. "I-I couldn't stop him. Will you forgive me." I asked very apologetic. She nodded and said, "Will you help me?" "Of course doll." We walked back to my room her arm still bleeding. I needed to fix that before the smell became to strong for me to handel. We reached my bathroom and I set her on the counter. She winced in pain when I wiped her cut with rubbing alcohol. "Shh, it's gonna help." I said trying to sooth her. I grabbed a blue band-aid and put it over her cut. I suddenly heared my door open.
