We rollerskated until the place closed. Which wasn't till midnight.

We got in my jeep and I drove back... well I guess back home. She technically lived there. I saw she was asleep when I looked over so I turned the radio off. All I could think about was how I was gonna tell Eli that his precious blood wasn't to be touched.

You see I might have not been telling the whole truth. I might know more than I am letting on.

Let me take you back to when Brair first arrived.

---

"Maxwell did you know she was type AB-." Eli looked at me with angry eyes. "No, I literally just brought her here because you said she would tell our secret." I crossed my arms and sat down in the leather chair. "I'm not mad I'm happy. She has blood thats so rare. Every vampire wants there hands on it. It's the best tasting." "You can't eat her." "Why not, I'm the lord. This isn't up for discusion. She will be drained by the end of the week and if you put up a fight I will make sure it's painful."

---

I couldn't sleep that night knowing what was gonna happen. Now that I've grown clower to her how can I watch her be drained. I saw my stepfather for this girl. There was no way in Hades she was gonna be drained. Was the only way to insure she wasn't drained killing her then bringing her back? The answer was... maybe.

I parked the jeep and she was still sleeping. I went around to her door and carried her back to my room. I couldn't take my mind off of the fact it was almost a week since she had been here. So much has happened to her yet I found myself falling for her over and over agian.

I layed her down in my bed and turned off the lights and closed the blinds. I walked out of the room and stormed down to Eli's office.

"Eli we need to talk." "About what?" "Brair." "Ahh, my favorite snack." "Shut up. She isn't a snack." "Oh let me guess you've gone all lovey dovey over this thing." "Good guess" I replied smirking. "Can we arrange a deal as to where you don't drain her and I can have a nice happy realtionship with her and maybe once just hear the word 'boyfriend' from her mouth. Why do we have to be so barbaric."

He looked there shocked. Then a smirk grew on his face. He stood up from his chair and straightened his tie. "Barbaric huh." He said picking up his coffee mug full of blood. "Well guess you would be the one who knows best."
