Chapter 14

"Maxey I saw m-my f-father." She sobbed harder into my chest. "What about your father?" I asked in a somber tone. "D-dead on t-the steps of hell dangled over a river bluer than your eyes then turning to a dark red." She sobbed and sobbed. "T-then a man waved g-good bye and I w-woke up."

I rubbed her back and she clinged to me. I knew what was going on it was Hades. I'd had those dreams many of nights before. Him haunting and taunting me with my mom. The only difference was she was dead. "Shhh, Brair listen to me." She looked up and I wiped the tears from her eyes. "It was just a dream." "A-are y-you s-sure?" "Yes babe." She nodded and burried her head in my chest after glancing up for a breif second. I rubbed her back and she stopped crying after a while. I felt bad because I'd gotten so use to them that they didn't faze me but I never realized what he could do to Brair. And the even bigger question was what did she do to him. My ears perked at the sound of the door clicking. "Maxwell." I heard a familiar voice. I looked up and saw... Gavin. "Gavin?!" I whisper yelled. The room was dark but the hallway light lit up his face. "Can I turn your light on?" He asked. "No, no turn this lamp on" I pointed to the lamp on the bedside table I didn't want to much light because of Brair.

Brair looked up to see what the fuss was about but then burried her face back into my chest when seeing a new person. Her heart beat sped up. "Brair it's okay" I said whispering into her ear. "He is my friend." She looked up and surprisingly kept looking up.

We where seated on the edge of my bed so she sat criss cross next to me. I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. "Brair this is my friend Gavin. Gavin this is my girlfriend Brair." I gestured them when I called there name.

"Hi Brair" Gavin said extending his hand out toward her. She shook his hand and responded with "H-Hi." "Great handshake." Gavin complemented. "Th-thank y-you." I chuckled. "My apologies Gavin she is a bit shy." I tried to play it off because inside I knew she just was one big ball if fear. "Anyway what are you doing here I thought you where gone for good once you know." "Well Eli wanted me back at the castle ." "I thought he kicked you out because you where to wild for his "taste" or something like that." Brair scooted closer to me when hearing Eli's name. "He's a funny vampire. Kinda like Brair but Brair is sweet unlike him" He chuckled. "Oh see Brair isn't a vampire." "Really, well aslong as she makes you happg dude I'm fine with it." "Wow first person I've heard that from."

"Brair why don't you grab my phone from over there and I can order pizza." I pointed to the dresser I had and she looked over there. She got up and walked over there. "Pizza sounds delicious" Gavin exclaimed. "It's one of the few foods you'll catch me eat."

Brair handed me my phone and I called the pizza place. I just got plain. I sat back on the bed and Brair cuddled up next to me. I looked over at her and wrraped my arm around her. Me and Gavin just began talking about life and stuff until Brair chimed up. "S-someone's at the d-door." She looked scared and uneasy. She'd been watching the door while we talked I guess not wanting anything to jump out at her. "I'll get it" I proclaimed. I got up and Brair followed behind me tip toeing. I opened my door and there was Alex. "Did you seriously order Pizza at 3 in the afternoon?" "Yes we did" I heared Brair chime in. I looked to my side and she was standing there next to me. "Brair!? I didn't know you where up." Alex smiled at her. "Here I trust you the most." He handed her the Pizza she took it and walked away. "You two must have become good friends" I said rather blank. "She only trust me because you trust me." "Makes sense. Alright well thanks for the pizza." "No problem but you owe me 10 bucks." "Bye Alex" I closed the door on him.

I walked back over to Brair and Gavin. Brair was on the floor and Gavin was in the same chair. "Maxey Come sit down here" Brair said patting a seat next to her on the floor. I laughed and sat next to her. She took a big bite from her Pizza and said "delicious." Now there was Pizza sauce in the cornner of her mouth and it was hilarious. I couldn't contain my laughter. Still she kept eating and Gavin looked over at me and shook his head while I was diying of laughter on the floor. "Do you always act like a toddler?" Gavin piped up while snickering. "No because I'm 20." Brair told him. "And hey your the ones laughing!!" "Babe where laughing because you literally got red sauce all over your face." She gasped and dropped her pizza on the box, well what was left of her pizza. She went to the bathroom and grabbed a towel. She came back with a clean face. "Better." She said triumphantly walking toward her seat. She plopped back down on the carpet and leaned her head on the bed. "I'm very full." I looked over at the pizza box and there was 3 pizza crust. I know for a fact Gavin eats the crust so those had to be Brairs. "Brair you had 3 pizzas I think you're gonna be full." Gavin laughed and Braur rolled her eyes.I got up from my seat and sat down next to Brair. I kissed her cheek and wrraped my arm around her. She leaned her head into my chest. "Well thanks for the pizza pal. I've gotta go reclaim my room" Gavin proclaimed. "Cya Gavin" I waved him good bye and he left the room. I could tell Brair was drifting off to sleep. "Brair" I shook her a little. She looked up at me "sleep in the bed not the floor." She nodded and got up on the bed. She crawled to the center and closed her eyes. I got up and cleaned the pizza mess up.

I crawled in bed with Brair and she cuddled up next to me. I kissed her head and closed my eyes.

I heared a ding go off. I opened my eyes and Brair was still next to me snoring her cute little snores. I got up carefully trying not to wake her up and walked over to my phone.

Gavin: Forgot to ask why was Brair so accepting toward Alex of all people.

Maxwell: He has been watching Brair while I was away doing something. I guess she just got used to him. I know what he did in the past was bad but we need to move forward.

Gavin: Alright if you say so.

I put my phone down on the nightstand and walked toward my bathroom. I hopped in the shower and was keeping my ears pealed for anyone coming in the room. I hopped out of the shower and put on some sweatpants. I walked out of the bathroom and Brair was still asleep. I needed to wake her up it was turning dark.

I climbed next to her and shook her gently. "Babe, wake up." "M-maxey" she said rubbing her eyes. "Yes it's me." I chuckled "why don't you go take a shower." She nodded and crawled over me to get down from the bed. She disappeared into the closet and then reamerged.

I smiled as she hesitantly shut the door. I heared the water run until a few minutes later it stopped. It didn't take long for Brair to appear. Wearing one of my white tees. It was long on her considering she was like a foot and something shorter than me. She had braided her hair. She came over toward me and crawled back over me to get to her spot.

I couldn't help but smile. She put in the extra effort of climbing over me when she could have just gone around. "You're really something Brair." She smiled and looked up at my face her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "You will always be my human" I said leaning my face close to hers. "And you will always be my Vampire." I closed the distance between our faces and kissed her. She qas truely something.

Mhm boom I updated. It took me the span of three days to write this one chapter. It usually doesn't take that long but like I said before I am an actress and this weeks tech week. If you don't know what that is then lets just say I don't get home until at the earliest 9:15. Anywho I just wrote this with the spare hours I had. Updates will become regular and on schedule. I'm holding Forbidden just cause it's hard for me to write two things at once the plots get jumbled in my head. Thanks for understanding. Love ya babes.
