"Jimin! " Nari yelled, trying to get her son downstairs but she had been calling him for ten minutes straight. Since he still hadn't come down, she decided she would go up to him.  Knocking on the door no one answered so she twisted the knob and entered.

"Jimin,  you work too hard,  you know that" she gently spoke to her son who has sitting at his desk,  a pile of assignments in front of him.

"It's okay, I don't mind. It keeps me busy and I like doing it"

"Jimin, look at me" she said, her hand going under her son's face. "I need to tell you something"

Jimin slowly turned around, weary. His mother would never sit down to talk to him if it wasn't serious.

"It's nothing bad,  don't worry." Nari said with a small smile.  "I've been talking with your father and he told me that it's been a month since you last visited him but as I recall, I send you to his house the week end after school started and that wasn't a month ago"

Jimin looked down, he didn't like to upset his mom.  "I'm sorry mom "

" I'm going to need more then a sorry, Jimin. Why didn't you go? "

Jimin sighed, he knew that this would bother his mother since she had always wished for their family's relationship to stay civil and kind no matter what had happened.  Against all odds, Nari and Mr. Park were on good terms and still enjoyed spending a few hours together occasionally but Jimin had another issue with his father.

" I don't want to see him right now, mom. He keeps going on about me taking over the family business and joining his company when I leave university and I always thought I would- mostly because it's been drilled into my head- but now... " Jimin trailed off his sentence not wanting to continue.

"Now what, sweetheart?" His mother asked, worry could be heard in her voice.

"I-I want to sing, mom. I don't want to work with father anymore,  someone convinced me I should follow my dreams no matter what others say. And my dreams are to become a singer"  Jimin bowed his head,  ashamed of disappointing his family.  He hear his mother sigh before standing in front of him, lifting his chin up.

"Listen, what I want before anything is for you to have a future, that's why your father and I Y always wished for you to continue the family business. It's a good job, Jiminie and it's safe.' she spoke softly before continuing. "But I want you to be happy and I would never tell you to give up on your dreams, but you know how hard it will be for you to earn and make a living as a singer. Whereas if you came to work at your father's company you would have a good life, you could supply for your wife and kids "

Jimin cringed at the word wife but  felt a pain in his chest when he thought about having kids since he knew that he would never have children of his own.

"Jimin are you listening to me?"

"Yes mother, but I'm tired can we talk about this another day? "

Nari exhaled but nodded her head slowly.  " I won't bring it up but only  If you go to your father's house this week end"

"But, me and Tae already have something planned "

" Is this who you we're staying with?  Taehyung? " Jimin cracked a smiled which gave him away. " My own sister covers for my son.  But wait, is she the one convincing you to sing? Because I know she always supported your cousin's choice to sing"

"Mom,  Taehyung sings really well and he's already been recruited by  a talent agency"

"Really ?? Why didn't Hailee tell me? "
