Sev's POV
I shot up, out of bed as soon as I woke up, beads of sweat on my head. I looked around frantically and saw a very worried Ethan beside my bed.
I closed my eyes and just breathed.
"Ally?" Ethan asked me softly, "You Okay?"
"She's gone." I whispered, "She's gone." I repeated.
"Seventeen? If she's gone won't that be a good thi-" before he could say anything else, I cut him off.
"I was mistaken." I said as tears began to well up in my eyes once more, "She loved me." I buried my face in my hands as I began to bite my tongue, hiding the sobs.
Ethan just let me lean on his shoulder for support as he patted my back, whispering comforting words to me as he wiped away the tears that were streaming down my cheeks.
"If I had really died just now, what would you or any of the others do?" I asked quietly, he held me closer to him.
"Don't say that." Was his answer, "You're not going to die."
"The Duels, tomorrow I have to compete with Cam." I reminded him.
"Cam loves you like a sister, Ally. He won't hurt you." Ethan told me softly.
"I know."
And we leaned onto each other for support as we stayed in the comforting silence between us. Not chatting, not talking, but letting the fact that no matter what happened, we would have each other by our side.

"Can you promise me something?" I asked looking into his magnificent orbs, breaking the silence between us.
"Anything." He said as he flashed me a grin.
"That no matter what happens," I took a deep breath, "Live life the way you want to. Don't let other people control you."
"Is there some sort of hidden massage behind that?" He asked me a little worried by now.
"No." I lied, "But don't worry I'm not trying to kill myself now." At least that part was true. "So, Promise?"
"Promise." He answered without hesitating, he paused before talking, "Remember that no matter what happens, I'll always be here for you, Kay?"
I just chuckled at whatever he said.
"Now I'm just going to go outside now, call me if you need anything."
"Sure." But I would've asked him to stayed if not for what I was going to do next. He gave me a kiss on the forehead, lips lingering there longer than necessary before walking out of the tent.
If only he knew what I was going to do next.
I took out my phone and sent a message to Ace and Nick.
Meet me in the tent, take Nick with you, don't tell anyone about this.
In less than a minute, I received a reply.
Roger that
