Brienne had been right. Addie hadn't gotten her out of her system. If anything she was becoming deeply embedded there. Addie was big enough to admit this the third time she was coming in to her hands at the sweet encouragements of Brienne's voice in her ear. It wasn't not enough to have Brienne's warm voice caress her; she wanted her hands, her lips, her tongue.
Addie shook her head. She should have been concentrating on the pop quiz in front of her but her mind was hijacked by the image of Brienne's lips speaking to her over the phone. She looked back at Brienne and was met with a confused expression. She turned back to her answer sheet, noting with dismay that she had only answered three of the twenty-five questions.
Giving up on passing the quiz – one of the five quiz grades would be dropped anyway – Addie put down whatever answer she thought of and submitted it. The teacher allowed her to be excused to the bathroom and she didn't miss how Brienne's eyes followed her. In fact, she made a point to meet the other's hawkish stare with a burning gaze of her own – like she was trying to convey something.
Five minutes later, Addie was joined by Brienne in the old girls' bathroom – the one people rarely used because it didn't have a full length mirror.
"You can't tell me you don't read minds," Addie chided Brienne pulling her into one of the stalls. "How else did you know to come to this bathroom?"
Brienne only smirked, allowing Addie to push her against the door and kiss her. At the end of it they were both breathless with spit-slick swollen lips.
Resting her head on Brienne's shoulders, Addie asked her, "What am I thinking about now?" She didn't wait for the answer; she took Brienne's hand and guided it up her skirt, shivering a little when skin met skin.
"Are you sure?" Brienne asked.
Addie nodded; suddenly shy after her bold move.
Brienne's fingers left a burning trail on Addie's skin as they traveled up the other's thigh, lingering at the spot that caused Addie's breath to hitch. They lingered also on the edge of her panties, playing with the elastic there until Addie placed a hand on Brienne's elbow. The mewl that fell from Addie's lips filled the empty room with an echo that seemed to get louder rather than softer. Addie buried her face into the crook of Brienne's neck as her fingers burrowed deeper through the course hair of her pubis mons and the sopping noise of delicious digital manipulation joined the chorus of breathy gasps.
"I'm c-co-coming," Addie whispered. She didn't have to say it – Brienne felt Addie's thigh muscles seize before they clenched and quaked around her fingers.
Brienne put down the toilet seat cover and helped Addie sit while she leaned back on the door. She was eyeing the seated girl with a look that was both smug and nervous.
"What?" Addie asked looking vulnerable. She wished she could read the other's mind.
"What am I to you?"
Addie met Brienne's eyes. Then looked away at what she saw there. "I don't know," she answered timidly. "I mean I like you and I want us to be friends it's just that I'm afraid."
Brienne sighed. "Of what? I'm not asking you to marry me or anything. I just want to mean more to you than a friend with benefits."
Addie looked alarm. "It's not like that at all..."
A noise outside their stall cut their conversation short. It didn't sound like someone was coming in. So did someone they hadn't noticed just leave? Addie looked positively frightened. And maybe that was all the answer Brienne needed.
