"...", I crawl my way back up the stairs, meat in hand..
"...jack..ass" I say as I pass his room. I get to my door and open it. Charles is sitting on the floor waiting for his food..I hand it to him..
"Got any family..?" I ask, blank faced and hurt.
*chewing
"Huh guess not.." "Well you and me both"
"Well when your done go to bed.", "see ya in the morning"
EARLY THAT MORNING..
"BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!"
SLAM!
My hand hits the clock..
"Yawn!!" I struggle to get out of bed.
"Charles?" I look under my bed..
"Oh he's asleep..Well I'll leave him here since mom's gonna be gone a couple of days..he shouldn't do any harm."
I check my face in the mirror.."Well no hiding this mark..here we go to school with a mark on my face... again.."
"Hey! Whoa!" Kareem says as I meet him on my way to school.
"Let me guess..Mizuki?" He asks kindly.
"Yeah" I say embarrassed.
"How's Charles?"
"Sleeping like a child" I say.
"Good are you ok?"He asks.
"Really your gonna ask that..?" I say joking.
"Yeah dumb question"He laughs.
We walk in silence till we get to school...through out the day people ask "hurt yourself again Adonee?" They joke..and make fun..but I don't care the only thing I care about is...
"Hi no name!!" Says a familiar angelic voice. I turn around.
"Whoa are you ok?" She asks me. "It's her!!!! The angel!!"
"Yeah I'm g-good..." I say trying not to loose my cool.
"Can I touch it?" She asks already touching it. "Her hands are like silk!!! I mean her..wow she..is amazing!!"
"Who did this?" She asks defensively.
"Oh my step brother, it's nothing."
"Yes it is."
"Nah..it's fi...!"
And before I knew it...she was kissing me..I was..not ready for it!
