Chapter 1

P E R I D O T P O V

So, it was just a normal day in Beach City, right? Well, most people would think that. But I thought otherwise. I thought that today could be different to...most days. As today I'm moving back to Beach City. Me and my mother, have the moving process from Empire City to Beach City too many times to count. So, keeping that in mind, I kinda have two groups of friends: the friends in Beach City, and my slightly less thoughtful friends in Empire City. Ah well fuck 'em, I thought. That people-infested place is like Jersey. Anyways, no more about Jersey, we're in Beach City now! So at this time, it was Friday, me and mum had spent the whole day packing and moving...for the 5th time. So basically I had a whole weekend to try and fit in, before college.

I thought, hey, I know this town...reasonably well, so I should go to town and see everybody! So that is exactly what I did. I notified mum I was going out and that I would be home soon. And there I was, jumping over the fence to get to Steven's house. I walked up the wood stairs and popped my head up like a lemur as I was trying to see who was here, hoping that Steven was home. As I looked through the windows, I see a familiar sight: all of them: Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl, and Steven too! It suprised me that everybody was here. Garnet however, looked up and saw me. FUCK, I thought, I've been found out! But she just looked down, smiling, keeping what she found to herself. I opened the door which was thankfully unlocked, and busted through, screaming: "WAZZZAPPP?!" Steven instantly returned the favor, screaming 'WAZZZAPPP PERIDOT!?!?' back to me. It warmed my heart to know he remembered the thing we used to do. He ran over to me, hugged me and kinda knocked me over in his own excitement, tbh. After that, I got to talk to everyone and find out how everybody else was.

Suprisingly, not much had changed, in a year, except, apparently there was this new person. Jasper, who I could already tell, was on very bad terms with Amethyst. And also, she was the school bully. But after talking with the Gems for about four hours, I realised it was 8 at night. "Shit, I've gotta go home!" I said, stoping Pearl in the middle of whatever she was talking about. I ran out, saying goodbye to them and ran home, checking my phone while I'm running to see the time. I kept running through the town, and kept checking the tim-BLAM! I ran, or...smacked, into something soft and squishy. "Ah shit, the fuck happened?" She said. I got up to try and answer her. "Sorry, I ran into you, are you ok-", HOLYFUCKSHESSOBEAUTIFULWHATTHE FUCK, I thought as I stood up off the footpath. "Yea I'm fine, thanks." She looked at me with a smile. I felt a bit woozy. Wait, soft and squishy? The fuck did I smack into?

Then everything went black.
