(A/N: OMG I AM SO SORRY I WAS DOING SHIT BUT NOW I'M WRITING AGAIN BUT IT PROBABLY WILL DISAPPOINT!)

Lapis was worried as to what Peridot's parents might think of her and their relationship. They had decided on going to see the parents TONIGHT. In Lapis' opinion, that was a bit due, even though Lapis still didn't want to face them. They were currently still at Peridot's apartment. Lapis called her parents the day before and informed them that she was staying at a friends house. They were fine with it, which was good for Lapis. "Peri..." "Yea?" "Are you sure about tonight? I mean I don't look that nice and neither do my clothes and I just don't think it'll go well and-" Oh God, now she's rambling, I gotta put a stop to this. "Lapis, shut up, you are going to be fine. If they like you a tenth as much as I do, then tonight will be fine, okay?" "O-okay..." Peridot thought for a bit. In reality, she was equally as worried. Her parents haven't ever dealt with their daughter in a relationship so...Peridot and Lapis both knew this would be weird. Lapis, when she was with Jasper, never meet her parents. I don't even think they're alive! "Oh shit." Said Lapis. "What?" "What am I gonna wear? All my clothes are at mine so...we should go get some..?" "Um, yea, we'll head off. Put something on." "Kay, you haven't meet my mum yet, correct?" "Nah fuck I haven't. Does...she know...about-" "About you? No I haven't told her." "Um, I..I meant Jasper. All that shit." "Oh...yea how could she not? I told her everything. She was a bit...adamant against me having a gf. She still is. So just-" "Be polite, helpful etcetera?" "Yea, all that shit. She'll warm up to you. If you're good enough for me then you are for her." "Okay, will do babe." Lapis smiled at Peridot, she then proceeded to walk to Peri's closet and quickly grabbed the first thing she saw, which was a Everlast jersey that was much too big for her, but she didn't notice that. Hmm, this'll do. Once Peridot saw Lapis, she nearly had a nosebleed. I mean, it was't much, but because it's Lapis, our green dorito nearly fainted. "Ready to go?" Lapis asked, oblivious of the fact that her girlfriend was basically steaming at the sight of her girfriend. "U-um, yeah, let's go." "Wait, how're we getting there?" "Car." Peridot said simply as she walked out of the apartment, Lapis trailimg loosely behind her.

About two minutes of navigating through the apartment complex (of which Peridot seemed to know off by heart), the pair were now at the underground parking lot, which is were Peridot's car was stationed. Another minute and a half of walking and they found themselves at Peridot's car: A yellow and black-striped 1978 Dodge Challenger R/T. (Props to you if you can identify the reference, you can orchestrate some of the story if you get it) Peridot pulled out her keys and opened the driver-side door. "WAIT." Lapis began, "This is YOURS?! WHAT THE F-" "Yep, hop in girlfriend! We going driving." Lapis obeyed, but the second she closed the passenger-side door, she bombarded Peridot with a thousand question. "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU OWN THIS? Wait, are you renting this AMAZING CAR?" "Nonono, I'm not renting this. This is completely my car. Through and through." "HOW?" "I'll tell you later, if I feel like it." She teased, annoying Lapis. "No you won't, you'll tell me now." She demanded. "Nope, later or never. Your choice." "Hmph", grumbled Lapis, acting like the big Tsundere she is, crossing her arms and staring out the window to look at the gray-skied city. Soon enough, after lots of directions from Lapis, they eventually found the street Lapis lived on. As Peridot drove down the street, she thought everything here looked a bit familiar, then she remembered the way she and Lapis met. She smiled at the happy memory, and hoped there would be more like it soon.
