P E R I D O T ' S    P O V

"Lapis!" Peridot yelled. As soon as Lapis ran, so did Peridot, not focusing on how everybody knew her mother. Now, she was looking for her. After a while of looking, Peridot decided upon a toilet-break, all that looking for Lapis made her need to pee. As she walked into the bathroom, she heard a familiar voice. It was Lapis, talking to herself.

"Dammit, she's so beautiful!" Lapis said quietly. Is she...no...she's not talking about ME, right? Nah.. "Dammit Peridot...why do I love you so much?!" Love?! Okay then Lapis... As soon as Peridot thought that, she sped past the wall she was hiding behind and grabbed Lapis, slamming their lips together. OMGIMKISSINGLAPISIMKISSINGLAPISOMGYASSSSSS! Perhaps, at the time, it wasn't the best thing to do, but ehh, love makes people dipshits. Lapis, in particular, was as surprised as anyone, but eventually started to kiss back. Her and Peridot's tongues eventually entered each others mouths. (A/N: For you COD players, it's basically a 1v1) Eventually, as any human does, Peridot needed to breathe. She broke off from Lapis who was also panting, awestruck from the passion. "H-how...how long..were you there, listening?" Lapis aked. "Um, like a minute..." "..." "So...love ehh?" Peridot teased. "Shut up Peridot." Peridot laughed at that, then thought about something. "Lapis?" "Mm hm?" "Why did you run?" Peridot didn't want to ask this, as she knew a sore spot when she saw one. "Haha yeaaa, about that, I-" "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to!" Peridot said quickly, "I just want you to have free will..." She said quietly, mumbling to herself quietly. Lapis felt amazing, not only did her crush just kiss her (passionately too!), but she's offering her something Jasper never would've: free will. "I know. But I'll tell you. Come on." At with that they walked out of the toilets together. Lapis quickly found a seat-bench-thing and motioned Peridot to sit on it with her. Lapis took a long sigh before telling her everything. About Jasper, their relationship, the abuse, the swearing, all of it. She just...let it out. And Peridot, who just sat there, actually understood (somewhat) what Lapis was going through, even though she hadn't actually been there herself. Lapis even explained the emotion tornado bit I talked about. After explaining nearly everything about Jasper and their relationship to Peridot, she just sat there, thinking. She decided that words weren't going to get the job done and gave Lapis a big 'ol hug (maybe a little rump-squeezing action too~😉👉👌). "That'll never happen." Peridot said. "Never. I fucking forbid it. I will not treat you that way and neither will anyone else. Not as long as I'm here." "...Peridot,...thank you." She said, giving her a quick peck on the cheek. Peridot blushed and thought for a moment, not saying anything, before finally saying, "Date me?" "Really?
A-are you sure?" "Why wouldn't I be?" "Okay then, um, yea, I'll date you. Fuck yea." she said. For some reason, the bell had been going off with shady timing lately. And there it was again, ringing loudly, signifying the end of lunch, and the beginning of the end of the day.
