Trouble Bonding
Terra was raised differently. She was moved out of her parent's home at aged 10 and shipped to a different pack where her father's step brother was.
She was younger than all her so called cousin's, as their youngest was at least two years older. With her moved into the small room in the basement, Terra had no further contact whatsoever with her parents or two siblings.
Not that the move was her fault, she was however blamed with slanderous lies told and shipped away. From that point forward, she absolutely knew she would never trust either her parents or siblings again besides others.
She immediately received more than a few stern comments being sat down by her Uncle on her arrival. He was not happy with her, blaming her because that was what he heard from her father and he totally believed him.
It made her stay locked in her room the majority of the time. Her punishment for what happened was not only her being sent away, but not everything came with her. Every comfort item she ever had was destroyed and thrown away in front of her, and only her clothes were sent with her.
In the basement bedroom, the room was bare as can be as her father wanted her to have nothing of comfort. Her Uncle agreed, so she had been watched from day one. They also expecting her to lash out and act out like her father had told them she would do.
Instead, she locked herself up and emotionally and physically withdrew away from them all. Her cousins refused to have anything to do with her, especially hearing from their father why she was supposed to be there. They believed their father and looked at her differently.
Then of course, at her new school, her cousins informed everyone they could. Which meant she was talked about, slandered and segregated on purpose as they too wanted nothing to do with her.
She had no chance at all with bonding to anyone in the new pack.

At 12, she was still spending all her time in her room. Not once did they bond with her, or included her in any family activities which was now the norm.
She locked herself in her room like a boarder just living in their home and not a family member. She and her wolf were now strongly bonded together as her wolf woke before being lied about the first time, way before she was shipped away.
She did all her own laundry, and when meals were called, she took hers on a tray back down to her room so she didn't eat with any of them. She washed her own dishes and even put them away so there were no dishes in her room for anyone to clean up afterwards.
Her aunt just watched silently as Terra showed her that she was very self sufficient. Her aunt not having to do much at all except keep her downstairs bathroom and clothes stocked.
Terra did her own cleaning as even the bathroom was sparkling clean every time her aunt checked it. Unlike the rest of the house as her cousins were horrible slobs, Terra's bathroom and bedroom were well taken care of by her. Her room was searched daily and they always found absolutely nothing hidden.

By the time Terra was 15, she was way ahead of every other student in school as her grades were excellent and she was given school work to match how far advanced and ahead she was.
The principal even had her sit down to do her final exams before the teachers started to give her University course books to work from.
The principal, after she passed every exam given to her with A+ high scores, he sat down with her Uncle and Aunt and told them that Terra was so far advanced that he recommended they send her to the Academy.
