The Trial

Paige's PoV
Today is the day, the day of the trial. I arrive at the court house. I walk in , the large room is empty. Kaydi and Leo follow me. They are quiet , more quiet usual, it's probably just there nerves. I haven't been feeling good lately. I really need to take my mental health in mind, a lot has happened and I can't tell what's real and what's not.

I go and put my files on the table. I sit there , my hands in my lap. I fiddle with my fingers. I sigh as I hear the large door echo through the room. I turn around to see piles of people walking in. A girl walks in first , she sits on the opposite side , Olivia I think her name is. Kaydi and Leo look at each other and then at me. Leo gently touches my shoulder , it reminds me that I'm not alone in this and they are here with me.

After about 30 minuets the room is filled up with people. You can hear the light sound of small talk coming from every inch of the room. Everyone turns silent as the judge walks in. He looks mad , angry. He looks like he has a frown tattooed on his lips. He sits down and ushers to bring in the criminal. I'm ready to see Grayson. I need to realise that we have never met. Nothing has ever happened between us.

I need to realise that he didn't hurt me, jack didn't rape me, me and olivia have never met , kaydi , leo , nate and Kian are not in a gang , and most hard of all I need to realise Ethan doesn't exist and we never met. Those precious memories didn't happen.

The first time we met , when he stared at me with those eyes , those gorgeous brown eyes. He seemed so real , how could my simple mind make up the intoxicating smell. He smelled so good, I was so safe in his arms. A tear trickles down my cheek. I dab it on hope to not remove any makeup. I can still picture his face , his body in my head. It was all a dream.

Even though Ethan Dolan , you are not real , I still love you , and I can't help it.

Two loud knocks are heard and armed police man bring him in. I can't see his face yet , all I can see is the back of his head. "Please rise" the judge said , everyone in the court house stood up. "Councillors , approach the bench." I walked over to the judge and so did grayson's lawyer. I was shaking , trembling actually. I slowly made my way over. The officer had a bible in his hand. "You promise to speak the truth , all the truth and nothing but the truth." Grayson's hand was on the bible , I didn't dare look at him , I can't handle it. "I do." He says taking his hand of the bible.

We walk back to our desks. "Mrs Ellese , you may approach the defendant ," I walk up the him , his eyes glued to the floor , his hair flopping over his face. "Mr Dolan , where was you the night of the kidnapping." He rose his head , he stared deeply into my soul.

"E...ethan"
