Lauren’s Poem
She’s a total original,
and you can’t help but adore her.
She’s smart,
and knows how to have fun.
Caring and sweet,
joyful and outgoing,
I couldn’t wish for better.
Still I wish she knew
how much I care about her.
A person I can connect with,
one who is always there.
A hug,
a friendly smile,
and a laugh.
She deserves so much
for being the virtuous person she is.
Yet, she never asks for much.
I hope one day
we can sit back,
and think about the fun
times we shared together.
With open arms,
she accepts my stubbornness
and my temper,
unlike many people.
So I hope she gets to read this,
because this is all true.
