Jordan’s Poem

Hot headed,

temperamental,

but under it all

is still a human being.

A soccer player,

a cellist,

a girl who seems a bit lost.

I don’t judge her,

though sometimes I do wonder.

What goes on

in that head of hers?

Does she remember

what I do?

The sweet little girl

who loved the world.

I miss that Jordan

the most.

I know we grow up,

and I know that we change,

but I will always see her differently.

A beautiful girl,

with a wonderful life,

but she doesn’t seem

to quite know it.

So,

Jordan if you ever read this,

I want you to know one thing.

You are,

and always will be,

good in my eyes.

Don’t listen to what people say,

continue being who you are.
