Lauren

Its been about three days since Jay has been going through withdrawals. It's not as bad as it was but he's still in pain at times. Lyric keeps asking about him. I just tell her that he's sick. He's been handling it pretty well. I'm thankful that the worst part is over. As long as he can control himself he'll be good. After going through what he did, I doubt he would go back to that.

"Hey baby." Jay walked through the kitchen.

"Hey. You ok?" I looked up at him

"Yea. I'm good." He wrapped his arms around me. "Thank you for being here. I really appreciate it."

"I've always been here Jay but you're welcome."

"I know. I should've listened to my mom."

"You hungry?"

"I could eat."

"The food is ready. Fix the kids plates for me. I have to go to work." I kissed his cheek and grabbed my bag.

I left out of the house and got into my car. Traffic was hell today and it made me late. I finally pulled into the parking lot after sitting in traffic for 45 minutes. I locked my doors and walked inside

"Baby mama." Chris threw his arm over my shoulder. "You finally made it."

"Why are you always here?"

"Working just like you."

"Right."

"I'm forreal. Kat called me and said my pieces came in today. I was waiting for you before I opened them."

"Aww. Isn't that cute." I rolled my eyes

"Shut up." He mushed my head

"Aye bitch." I pushed him

"Chill out." He laughed

"You play too much. Let me see this shit so you can leave me alone." I walked into the conference room and there was a box on the table.

Chris opened the box and pulled everything out.

"This is nice." I held up a jersey

"I know." He smiled

"Let me hold this one."

He nodded.

"His stuff is nice right?" Kat walked in

"Yea. It came together nice."

"I have some clients that have agreed to wear it. Do a little promo." She spoke to Chris.

"That's dope. They can have whatever."

"Good. I'll let you know the details." Kat nodded

Chris left out and I sat down and sighed.

"He's irritating."

Kat laughed

"It's not funny."

"It's not but it is. That boy still loves you."

"Yea I see that. I'm married though."

"Have you spoke to Nicki?" Kat sat on the table

"Not since yesterday. Why?"

"She hit me up this morning saying that she wanted to have a meeting with you. About what, I don't know."

"I hope it isn't bad."

"I doubt it. You haven't done anything. How are the babies?" Kat smiled

"They are good. Bad as ever."

"I'm having an event this weekend and you're coming."

"I am?"

"Yep. I already have your name down. There's going to be a lot of clientele there so make sure you bring everything that you have made. I'm sure they'll want to see it since they know you've been styling Nicki."

Ever since I've been making clothes for Nicki, more and more people have been asking for clothes as well. I've been looking into getting a store. I think it would do well since I have acquired the following for it.

8:37 PM

I walked in the house and took my shoes off. The only light that was on, was in the kitchen.

"I cooked for you." Jay spoke as I walked in the kitchen

"I see that." I smiled

"Amber has the kids so we have the night to ourselves." He walked over and removed my bag from my shoulder. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." I hugged him and laid my head on his chest. "What did you cook?" I looked up at him

"Chicken Alfredo. Something simple."

I sat at the table and waited for him to bring our plates over.

"How was work?"

"It was good. Chris' clothing line is coming together. I actually have one of the pieces with me." I grabbed my bag and pulled out the jersey.

"Oh that's dope. He did his thing with that. I like it."

"I know. I was shocked."

"You looked at your stuff yet?"

"Nah." I stuffed the pasta in my mouth

"You know what I miss the most?" Jay eyed me

"What?"

"That pwussy." He attempted to copy Plies

"Stop it." I laughed

"I'm forreal though."

"Mhmm. You might get it if you act right." I smirked and continued eating.
