"Happy birthday!" I woke Kody up out of his sleep. "Get up baby, it's your birthday. You're 3 today."

He looked at me for a minute before sitting up.

"Come on. Let's get ready for your party." I picked him up

Jay's mom wanted to have his party at her house. She planned everything like always.

I gave him a quick bath and put some clothes on him.

"Let's go." Kody grabbed his hat and walked to the front door

"Let's go everybody. The birthday boy is ready."

We got into the car and went to Jay's mom house. She did a batman theme for Kody. Black and yellow balloons were lined down her driveway.

"Balloon!" Kody yelled.

"Your balloons are inside." I unbuckled his seat and took him out

Jay's mom always goes all out for everything. The cake she ordered was huge. Kody ran up and dug his hand into the side of it and stuffed it into his mouth.

"Kody" I gasped and laughed

"It's his cake." Jay's mom laughed "Let him enjoy it."

He spotted the kids outside and ran out the back door.

"He's going to get cake everywhere."

"Oh hush. He's at grandma house. He can do what he want."

I waited for Riley to get here before I went to the backyard. I watched as the kids played in the bounce house.

"He's getting so big." Riley commented

"I know." I pouted. "He'll be in kindergarten before I know it."

"They do grow up fast."

"Yes they do. They'll always be my babies though."

Im glad everyone was enjoying themselves. Jay decided that he was going to cook on the grill.

"Mommy. I have to use the bathroom." Lyric ran over to me

"Go ahead inside. You know where the bathroom is."

A few minutes later Lyric ran back out the house. "Mommy?"

"Yes?"

"Grandma is in there and she doesn't look ok."

"What?" I jumped up and ran into the house. I spotted her sitting on the living room couch. It looked like she was struggling to catch her breath.

"Go get Jay! She gotta go to the hospital." I turned to Riley

"It's going to be ok." I grabbed her hand

"What happened?" Jay rushed over

"I don't know but she needs to be seen. She needs to go to the hospital."

"I got the kids. Ya'll go ahead." Riley spoke

Jay carried her out to the car and sat her in the back. We got to the hospital within 15 minutes.

He went inside and came out with a wheelchair. He carefully sat her down and wheeled her inside. They admitted her right away and put her in a room.

I sat in the chair next to the window. Jay sat beside the bed. He held his mom's hand the entire time. They gave her an oxygen mask and she ended up falling asleep.

"I left my phone in the car. I'ma go get it. I'll be right back."

Jay nodded

I left out of the room and walked down the hall of the hospital. I began to get dizzy as I was walking.

"Ma'am are you okay?" A nurse came over to me.

Before I could respond, everything went black.

The sound of beeping woke me up. I looked around and I was in a hospital bed myself. I found the remote and called a nurse to my room.

"You're up." She smiled as she walked in

"What happened?"

"You passed out. You were dehydrated. How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok."

"We're waiting on your test results right now. We got permission from your husband to draw blood since you couldn't answer for yourself. He's in the next room with his mother still." She smiled

"Can I get a bottle of water?"

"Sure." She left the room.

It seemed like I was connected to every machine in there.

The doctor walked in with my water. "Here you go." He handed it to me. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok. My head hurts."

He nodded. "Well you did pass out. We came to the conclusion that you were dehydrated. We have you getting fluids right now. We also tested for other things but everything came back normal. We did find that you're pregnant though so congratulations on that. You have to make sure you keep your body hydrated."

"Im pregnant?"

"Yes." He smiled and nodded
