Second chance. 

Star P.O.V - 

I am in a heavy black cloud.

 Nothing to see.

 Nothing to hear.

 Just this heaviness in my whole body.

 So heavy that I cannot move.

 I can't remember how to open my eyes. Then I start to hear noises. The buzz of machines. Clicking of feet near me. Quiet talking. 

"Wake up" 

I lie still. I strain to hear and makes sense of it all. No idea. Where am I and why? I struggle to open them. Success. I am in a bright white place. A hospital. Someone is bending over me. Trey. He says my name. "Star" And again. "Star" I try to remember how to talk. No words come, but I blink hard. Again he calls me. "star - wake up" Again I try to answer. Suddenly I clear my throat. I think I am about to shout. But all that comes out is a tiny whisper "yess".

The memories came back , I wish they hadn't. trey smiled "She's up, she's up" I looked at the foot of my bed , shay was sitting down. My dad and my mom jumped out of there seats praising god that they daughter is alive. Dre walked in with McDonald for them.  Shay looks afraid to touch me. I know deep down and side she wanted to squeeze the life out of me. where was quan? I tried lifting my head up "no no no" trey says as I lay back.

He got a doctor when he noticed that I was awake. I felt pain everywhere .. A part of me wishes that I was dead. They ran a few test and fed me food. They had news. Bad news. 

"Dear family, I know this is a rough time for all of you. I'm sorry you may or not be aware that you were raped yesterday. your virgina is torn,  you are recoving from a concision. You have a couple bruises. We will have people coming in later to investigate. The good thing is that your alive" the doctor says 

"Raped ..... " Shay says 

It wasn't a surprise to me.. i know. I remember , thats just a memories thats not going to go away.  Shay started to cry , I hated seeing her cry. I held out my hand, " I'm sorry that I wasn't there to protect you , I love you so much, I'm glad your alive .. I thought you left me! I'm so sorry excuses me" She says  running out of the room , dre followed. 

I can't even be upset. My rebellion got me here ain't it ?
