The baby was fine.

The doctor just told me to be more careful, shay came running in with Chris "bitch you crazy fighting while you pregnant & fighting without mee" she says

" Facts, you good girl?" Chris asked checking my forehead then back to shay side

I nodded my head quan kissed my forehead "I gotta go see Shawn one time before he go on vcay with his family, he won't be back before I leave to newyork" he says

"BE CAREFUL" I say

He gave me a kiss and left " y'all cute" she says

Shay waited for quan to leave to talk "New York.. damn so soon" She asked

"I know.." I say

"Aww it's going to fly fast, youll be getting your diploma like boom So ... When will you find out it's gender" she asked

"It's been 4 months ... Hey.. how about you find out but don't tell me until the baby shower/ gender reveal!" I say

"Yesss!!" Shay says jumping up and down

I smile, Chris and shay look soooo happy. "Ima be a uncle" Chris says with a tear coming down his eye, "I KNOW A WHOLE CRAZY AUNT OUTCHEA, whooaahhhhh" she says getting hype I chuckled There always together being cute.

When they finnaly let me out , shay dropped me off at quans. His mom let me in, we had small conversation about quan of course. She's was in the kitchen cleaning as quan came down the stairs.

"Aye beautiful" he says greeting me with a kiss

"Hey baby" I say noticing a bruise on his neck.

I waited till we were in a private place before I started asking questions. He sat down on the bed, I sat beside him and just started looking at the purple and red markings on his necks. They weren't hickey. They hand prints from a choke hole. I reached to touch it he pushed my hand away.

"your neck" I say

"I know I'm good" he say

"Baby what the hell happened?" I ask

"Don't worry about it, just stay away from chole - ion care what the hell she does just ignore it.. the killing won't stop" he says

"This has to deal with the beef?" I ask

"Her niggas, they niggas everybody and they mama threaten to kill shawn-"

"Since when threats scared you or stopped you period-"

"When I realized HES ALL I GOT STAR" his voice escalated he stood up "fuck this shit bruh" he says referring to his neck "you n the baby healthy , chris and shay happy and Shawn alive I'm good" he says he slammed the closet door "sick of this shit.. I'm TIRED- I wanna move on from this shit, continuos beef I want out" he says with both palms on the dresser with his head down

"Quan.." I say walking towards him wrapping my arms around him from behind. He pushes me off

"That hurts" he says i see his shirt turning red.. blood. I reach to lift up his shirt "nah" he says moving back

"Baby STOP" I Say I lower my voice when I see his fist flinch up "I'm trying to help you .. let me help you" I say

I move closer, I lift his shirt all there is more brusise.. open wounds. "Stess ain't good for the baby" he says it went in on ear out  the other I rush and get alcohol, band aids.. cotton balls, gars. "Sit down.." I say

He sits down and I began to clean the wounds properly "I thought she was bull shitting quan.. I ain't think she was serious but now I have to walk around like a bitch and not say shit for the protection for Shawn and everyone else. Shay will kill her if she finds out this foolery. Why don't we just tell the police" I say

"No you crazy.. they'd put me behind bars too and Shawn" he says

"I'm not walking around like a bitch my senior year.." I say

"Do it for shawn, loyalty.. for me" he says

I nodded my head "alright.." I say  placing the bandaid over the wound.

He puts me on his lap "baby tell me what happened..." I say

"I was walking heading to Shawn's to tell him wassup.. the caught me lacking. There was alot of em, they really could have killed me but they ain't. Ion know why.." he says

I hug him " I'm so sorry baby ... If I just ain't -"

"Nah.. it's cool fr, I got you all in this mess ... They said they'd kill you . Shay.. the baby Shawn everyone... when I killed ole dude for some money I ain't think itd go this far but but ... loyalty go far remember." He says

" blood makes you related" I say "but loyalty makes you family" he says we kissed. And kissed. And kissed.

Quan left to newyork a couple of days after. There's not a day that goes by we don't text, call. 3 months into School all I get is looks. Up and down. Shay told me I'd be putting my health at risk if I fight someone again. She'd say things like "if a bitch want smoke with star they know where to find me" she'd say  to every bitch in the school she ain't give a fuck. Chole was just a dumb bitch with a big mouth that got a army of niggas behind her like her Minos.

"Bitches be bored" shay says looking at the things girls wrote on the bathroom stall

I went to look "no.. more stress to the baby" shay says

"I don't give a fuck!" I say pushing her out the way

A part of me wanted to cry but the other part told myself you have one more year left and half of these bitches know the real story and the real story is chole was too much of a broke hoe that she forced her "nigga" to steal money for the abortion.. he got killed and the revenge hasn't stop. Im pregnant Because of her!

"What would your dad do or say ?" She asked me

"No.. forgive. Forgive her for the things she does and doesn't know what she do. I know it's odd coming from me out of all people but  Revenge isn't going to fix anything but create more problems like they have. You know out of all people I'm quick to throw hands but we put up with chole since kindergarten.. the bitch bored... Sad. One more year we off to newyork.. the bitch will just be a memorie" she says she hugged me "I need you to stay mentality good for the baby" she says

I nodded my head. Dad. Mom. They were right.. god taught me a lesson.. even though my dad wasn't in the right all the time .. he was right.

After school I go to my dad's house. I stare at the door.
