I made my way down to the lobby, Shay was coming in with food with dre. 

"Why you leaving so soon - whats wrong? " she says 

" Ask quan" I say walking pass them

A month later ive been staying around Shay's house with her brother . I haven't heard from quan.. if he cared he would have been called me but shit ain't happen. I got a job & my belly is obvious but not too obvious. Dre takes  me for my check ups I read my poems every night to my baby. I hope it's a boy.. Its sad my parents will know nothing of him or her.. I refuse. Dre threaten to put my dad in jail if he came anywhere near me. Shay told him , Dre Handeled It it. We were eating dinner we heard the bell rang shay got up and answered.

" Hii" I hear shay say

"Hey baby" Chris says

Chris... Oh boy let's see how Dre likes this. Chris and shay walked in under his arm , behind them was quan. I froze in my seat. He looked at me I looked at him.

"Surpriseee.." shay says I look down at my plate, "this is Chris, my boyfriend & this is quan -"

"I know who tf they are, take a seat" Dre says

Quan took a seat in front of me, I felt his eyes on me, I got very angry at shay she knows how upset I still am with quan. Why would she do such a thing. I try to brush it off. I did until..

"Star, you can't speak.." she says

"Excuse me" I say I walk out of the kitchen and heading to the porch. I needed to breathe. A second to take wtf just happen. Shay walked out "look I know-"

I turned around "ARE YOU CRAZY" I shout

" STAR WTF! YOU LUCKY YOUR ASS IS PREGNANT BC WE'D BE ON THE FLOOR RN" She shouts

"WHY THE FUCK YOU THINK ITS OKAY TO BRING QUAN HERE!" I shout

"Bitch because I'm sick of seeing YOU so sad, I thought maybe bringing him here y'all will make up n shit" she says

"HOW ABOUT MIND YOUR BUSINESS..." I say

"STAR YOU BEEN MY DAMN BUSINESS SINCE YOU MOVED IN - SCRATCH THAT , YOU BEEN MY BUSINESS SINCE WE BECAME FRIENDS! QUAN loves you! Bring your ass back in here" She says

"FUCK QUAN AND FUCK YOU" I shout

I walk away with my arms crossed. Shay yelled but it went in one ear out the other. I walk down to the park and sit down on the swing the sun was setting and it was getting cold but it was better then being there.

I've been an emotional wreck, especially since I've been pregnant.. but I wasn't ready to see quan I wish she would have talked to me before doing so. Fuck it.

A car pulled up I couldn't tell by the bright lights.. they turned off as soon as they parked. It was quan standing tall.. he walked over and sat down in the swing next to me.

"How are you?" he says without looking at me

"Good." I say keeping it short

" The baby?" He ask

"Good." I repeat

He looked at me, I looked back down on my feet. He got out the swing and he put his hand under my chin and lifted my head up.

"Stop looking away from me .. ole shy ass" he says

"Tss" I say pushing his hand away looking at my feet again
