Investigating.

It's been 3 days since I've been in the hospital. I'm ready to fucking leave but I don't even want to go home.. I'll have to deal with my parents.  My parents would visit me in the morning before they went work , We ain't talk much. My friends visited me after school they discussed we were going to set chole up. Jasmine has been visiting and she'd down with the shits too. 

We did some lurking and found out that drake was her boyfriend. That caught everybody off guard. Talking about keeping ole boy lowkey. Her minions slipped up  spilling all the tea. They said chole set the the jumping with jasmine and the insistent 3 days ago.  No loyalty in that.  We are waiting off for the right time to set shit off.  This should be a interesting, too bad I'm going to be missing out on all the action stuck in my house on bed rest. 

Quan has stayed with me each night not leaving my side until I fall completely asleep. Most of the nights were spent talking, he is a leo, his favorite color is blue but not just any blue more like the sky blue. His dad left when he was 9. When he gets nerves he looks away , he is calm.. very calm. All most too calm , he's funny. Him and Shawn has been bro since 1st grade the others fell in line 5th grade year. He been through it. I told him about my family and more about me.

Shay hasn't been her self since the insistent, she always angry..  She just ready to hurt poor child. Only god can save chole at this point. Shawn is still shawn, quite. Chris is still goofy, ice doesn't really coming around only when business needs handling. 

Me, Physically I'm sore but I'm okay. Still healing.

but Mentally, I'm numb. 

Nothing matters right now. 

The one thing that meant the world to me was snatched from me. 

Detectives and security guards walked into the room, Quan looked them up and down. Another thing about quan he hates the police they shot his innocent cousin now he can't stand them. The detectives asked them to leave , the security guards escorted them out. It was just me. 

"Ms.Brooks" a tall man says taking out a pen and notebook "I'm detective john" he announced I nodded "Will you tell me what exactly  happen 3 nights ago" he says

I told him what exactly happen leaving out the previous beef. As far as the detectives knows is that we were at the wrong place wrong time. 

"Any descriptions?" he ask 

"Tall.. Very tall" I say keeping it short almost about to crack It took a lot out of me but I held it in. He nodded his head , I'll be talking to Quan. Is there anything I need to know?" he ask 

I shake my head "No" I say 

We shake hands and they exit. 

Quan P.O.V -

As I was held captive in the hallway forced to talk to a Opp, detective john.  

"Do you have any idea why the people that jumped you and raped star .. They didn't rob the corner store. It seems to me they were just after there targets.. and looking at your wounds and bruises  on your face they looked like they were tryna kill you and they left star for dead" he says 

"Tss.. nahh I'm very unaware , all I know is that I was getting gas with my girl. I guess I was just in the wrong the hood" I say keeping it cool 

"are you in any form of gang?" He asked 

"what does that have to do with me getting jumped at a gas station ..." I say 

"Ion know you tell me" he says 

"Tss , How about you find them niggas instead of interrogating me" I say

Shay p.o.v - 

This man got some nerve ..... I outta smack him. "Excuse me .." I say interrupting "Can we leave?" I ask we all stand up leaving with out affirmation we was out that bitch. They gon be on us ... We all get in quans car. 

"Hey lets go to chole house" I say being funny 

"Can't wait huh?" chris ask 

"Nahh" I say with a devil grin "This bitch got me fucked up , I want answers " I say 

"Tss, be patient gotta play safe FEDs on our ass. well at least mine" quan says 

we all laugh "can't stand mfs" Shawn says 

"Ohh , you talking now?" I ask shawn 

"Shut up" He says 

He's so mean , no humor what so ever "Whatever man" I shrug 

"Lets kidnap star from the hospital"  chris says 

"Nigga you dumb ?" Quan says 

"Nahh fr bro... she can just chill at yo place " Chris says making a point 

I think its best for star all her parents going to do is talk her head off on how she could have avoided the situation dah dah ... At least she can rest. in peace. 

"Her parents gon come lookin for my ass" Ice chuckled 

"Facts but .. I mean , she'll be straight. I miss my best friend" Chris says 

He dropped everyone off, I was the last one he took home. I want answers.. 

"So whats yo deal with my sis?" I ask 

He chuckled "you investigating me now?" he ask 

"I wanna know whats going on" I ask with a smile 

"I like her .. ight" he says 

"OH SO -"

"shut up shay , das lil baby tho one day" He says 

"Just know thats yo ass if I find out you doing sis dirty" I say 

Star P.O.V - 

I was shaken out of my sleep , it was Quan. "Come on girl .. lets go" Quan says in a low whisper 

I chuckled "Boy bye" I say rubbing my eyes

He gently picked me up, being very careful with me "I got you baby" he says 

I rolled my eyes , "where we going?" I ask 

"Home" he says
