Asuna sat, strapped, in the chair. We had the procedure. A team of 10 scientists, Joule, Green Wraith, Lighttower, Ryan and myself stood around. Asuna had volunteered for the procedure first. A doctor walked up with a syringe gun and injected the glowing particles into Asuna's arm. The particles would eat most of the eldritch power and cause the rest to scatter to the surface where it could be absorbed and harmlessly released by Joule. Asuna soon began glowing, she screamed out in pain. Glowing blackness began to surround her mixed with the glowing gold of the particles. Joule inhaled sharply and the black light entered him. His eyes grew physically darker, black mist swirling around his pupils in the iris. He opened a portal and the black light coalesced in his hand it shot out in two beams into the portal. The portals shattered into oblivion and Joule collapsed as the particles drew back into Asuna and a strange wave of force was emitted blowing us all back. Joule and Asuna were passed out. The scientists looked at Asuna's biometrics. No eldritch power. She was back to normal. It worked. I flew out to Ares Factory 001 to tell Ares the good news. That factory, their largest, had been bombed 8 times in the last two years and the most recent one was yesterday. Ares was overseeing reconstruction. I jumped out of my ship and walked over to Ares.

"Hey, we did it. We have a cure," I said. He turned.

"What? The scientists cracked it?" He asked.

"With the help of that guy Joule, yeah," I responded. He nodded.

"So shit like this," He made a motion to the collapsed side, "Won't be happening soon."

"Nope," I said. He grunted in approval and walked away. A small shadowy portal appeared and Akaalist stepped out onto my shoulder.

"Good your away from that guy," He said.

"Who? Ares?" I asked.

"No, the Godson," He said.

"Joule?" I asked.

"Yeah, him," He said with a sneer in his voice.

"What do you have against him?" I asked. He just fell forward out of existence. Oh well I guess.
