The Secret Couple

Chapter 2

Jules' POV

7:35 am

I slowly and groggily sit up rubbing my eyes. I was tired from what we did yesterday. I looked over at the clock. Shit. I quickly got up and stripped of my clothes. "Danny! Danny wake your ass up! We're late!!"

I quickly changed into my practice clothes and put a change of clothes into my bag. I didn't bother to shower, I'll just do it after practice. I ran to Danny's room and knocked on the door. "Bro wake the hell up!"

"I'm up."

"Hurry up we needed to leave an hour ago!" I was screaming at him because I knew that coach would rip our heads off even if we were a second late to practice.

Danny came out of his room and we grabbed water and ran out of the house. I drove fast but not to fast if you know what I mean. We finally made it to practice an hour late and dropped our bags into the locker room and ran into the field. "Dola, Edelman where have you been!!!!" Coach practically yelled for the whole world to hear.

"Coach we are sorry, we woke up late."

"You guys are an hour late!!"

"Yes coach we are aware. What do you want us to do after practice?" Danny says nicely knowing coach is pissed.

"150 laps around the field, 100 push-ups and 50 sit-ups!" He roars.

Practice was actually a living hell. He was pushing us past our breaking point. I knew when practice was over Danny and I were going to pass the fuck out. After practice coach waited until everyone was off the field and he started screaming and yelling at us. "Edelman you start with your push-ups and sit-ups. Dola start running!! Now!!!"

We did as we were told. I did the 50 sit-ups with no problem. The 100 push-ups on the other hand were difficult. I pushed threw the pain and finally finished. I started my laps and Danny only had 1 more to do. After we finished the laps, push-ups and sit-ups coach stopped us before we went to the locker room. "We're sorry coach that won't happen again," Danny told him.

"It better not. But rest up for the party tomorrow."

"The party is tomorrow?!" Danny and I practically screamed.

"Yes," he chuckled.

"Thank you coach," I said.

We headed to the locker room to change and shower. When I was done I called up one of my best friends that's a girl. "Hey Adriana, you know how I called you the other week saying we were going to have a party before our first game?"

"Yeah?" She questioned.

"Well the party is tomorrow, do you still wanna go?" I asked.

"Hell yes, it's about time I get out and drink," she laughed.

"Alright I'll pick you up tomorrow around 7."

"Alright see you then," she said and then hung up.

I've known Adriana a long time and we even dated a few times but we're really good friends now. I sat on the bench and waited for Danny to get his slow ass out of the shower. That man takes forever to do anything.

Danny's POV

I got out of the shower and put my clothes on. Julian was waiting on the bench for me. We walked out and Julian started driving home. I decided that I was going to call the girl I was bringing to the party. "Hey Olivia."

"Yes Danny?"

"I wanted to know if you were still coming with me to the party?" I asked waiting nervously for her answer.

"Yeah I'll still come just let me know when to be ready."

"I'll pick you up around 7."

"Sounds good see you there." She said hanging up.

A smile made its way onto my face. We finally arrived home just minutes after I hung up the phone. We got out of the car and headed inside to our rooms. I'm guessing Julian was thinking the exact same thing I was. We both took a well deserved nap.

5:50 pm

I turned over and looked at my phone. The time read 5:50 pm. I slowly got up knowing I had a little over an hour until I had to go get my date for the party. I heard the sound of the shower coming from Julian's room. So I decided to hopped into the shower.

Julian's POV

I hopped out of the shower and went to my closet. I picked out a nice light blue dress shirt and a black tie. I found the right pants to wear with the shirt and tie and put them on. I was wearing khakis with black shiny shoes along with my light blue shirt and black tie. I walked over to my bedside table and placed on my watch. I walked into the bathroom to touch up my hair before I walked out of my room and went down the stairs. I nervously waited for Danny to come down the stairs before I went to go get my 'date.' He walked down the stairs not even 10 minutes later. He was wearing his usually light purple shirt and grey tie with khakis and his black dress shoes. "Your looking better than me for once," I told him.

"I always look better than you," he said confidently.

I pretended to look hurt but he knew it was an act. "I'll see you there bro."

"Alright don't get lost," he laughed.

"I should be the one telling you that, your the one who never drives," I smiled.

He shook his head and we walked out the door. Danny got into his car and I got into mine. We both headed to pick up our dates for the party.

Danny's POV

Julian and I got to the party around the same time. Olivia and I waited for Julian and Adriana to get there which didn't take long. We all walked in together. The place was packed and it was only 8:00. All four of us managed to make it to the kitchen and get some drinks. We saw Tom and coach outside and we headed their way once everyone got their drinks. "Hey guys," Tom said when we stepped outside.

"Hey," we all said one after the other.

We continued talking for a little bit. Julian excused himself to get all of us more drinks. The night went pretty well we all stayed outside talking and drinking. Before we knew it we were all pretty wasted and it was 2 in the morning. Julian and I got into our cars and drove home while Tom called Giselle and coach had his wife drive him home. We made it safely back to the house and all stumbled up the stairs into our rooms. Adriana went with Julian and it was me and Olivia.

In the morning I woke up with a pounding headache and climbed out of bed. I noticed I was completely naked but didn't remember taking my clothes off. I noticed that Olivia had nothing on as well. "What have a done," I mumbled to myself walking towards the bathroom.
