The Secret Couple

Chapter 4

Danny's POV

It's the fourth quarter and we're down by three. With two minutes on the clock. Julian just returned the ball. Our offense just got in the field and Brady has to throw more than 60 yards to get into field goal range. We set up into our positions getting ready to run our routes when Brady gets the ball. The ball gets snapped and into Brady's hands. I'm running my route and look towards Brady. He looks around and snaps the ball. Julian catches it and runs. Soon he's brought down. We gained about 15 yards. We lined up again and run almost the same route. This time Brady throws the ball towards me. I catch the ball and run. We get another 20 yards. Then Brady runs the ball for 4 yards. We have about 50 seconds on the clock with no timeouts. Brady throws the ball towards Gronkowski who is in the end zone. Touchdown!!!!! He scored a touchdown. Now we're leading by 4 points. With 45 seconds on the clock. When the offense finally gets to the sideline Brady says "good job boys. Way to set up when we need you guys."

He went around hugging and gave high fives to everyone. Shortly after the game was over and we won. It was a great start to the season. Everyone was clapping and cheering and overall happy. We walked into the locker room after our win and everyone was chatting and congratulating everyone on the win. I headed straight towards Julian. "Good game."

"You too."

We smiled at each other while we took our gear off. "Wanna go have a few drinks to celebrate?"

"Yeah that sounds great right about now."

I laughed and went to take a shower before we headed out. Julian did the same thing.

After the shower we got changed and headed out to a local bar. We got there and ordered a couple round of shots. We were celebrating our win. "Congratulations."

Everyone who saw Julian or I would congratulate us on the win. After an hour or so we got fed up with everyone coming up to us that we decided to just go to a liquor store and drink at the house.

Once at the house Jules and I went to the man cave to get drunk and play some pool. Coach let us have tomorrow off because of the win but that means that Tuesday's practice will be tough. Julian and I had a couple more fireballs and a beer. We were playing some pool and blasting music. Julian and I texted Rob and Tom to see if they wanted to hang out with us. Tom said he was hanging out with Gisele and Rob was in his way. We told him to use the back door that led to the man cave. We just finished up our fourth game of pool when Rob showed up. We played a few more rounds of pool before Rob wanted to go out and get wasted. Julian and I agreed since we were already hammered. Rob drove to the nearest club and we ordered our drinks. Julian and I were holding some beers and decided to dance while Rob took a couple rounds of shots and had two beers in his hand.

Somewhere throughout the night we lost Rob and ended up back at the house. I don't remember most of the night but I woke up that morning next to Julian. I yawned and stretched. Then rolled over to see Julian sleeping peacefully next to me. I decided to head back to sleep because my head was killing me.

Julian's POV

I woke up in the morning not knowing how we got home or what happened after we got to the bar. But I woke up next to a sleeping Danny and decided to slowly get up. After a good ten minutes I sat up and got out of the bed. I groggily got up and made my way out of the room. As I was walking down the stairs I saw a sleeping half naked Rob on the couch with a random girl. I quietly made my way to the kitchen to get some medicine. I looked at the clock in the kitchen. It read 12:49 pm. I decided I'd try to make something to eat for everyone since they would all need something to eat. I decided on making strawberry pancakes. They are Rob and Danny's favorite things to eat. And I decided on making eggs for me. Since I didn't know what the girl would want I decided to make a few extra pancakes and some extra eggs. I heard someone walking down the stairs and assumed it was Danny. I didn't bother to look, I just continued on making breakfast. Once I was done I put them on plates and brought them into the living room. Danny was on a different couch looking at his phone and Rob was still sleeping. "I made some pancakes for you and Rob," I said to Danny.
