Chapter 8

I can’t actually believe it. Sophie loved me back. She had spent nine months with that twisted idiot of a boyfriend. He blinded her and made her believe that she was useless and no good. And that only he would want her. If I ever see him again, he’ll get a lot worse than a few punches. 

Me and Sophie were walking down the stairs hand in hand.

“Niall?” she asked

“Yeh?”

“Can we tell them at the right time later on, just not right now?”

“Sure, whatever you want!” I smiled giving her hand a reassuring squeeze before letting go and walking into the front room.

*MY P.O.V*

Me and Niall walked into the front room. Im surprised everyone had managed to fit in the front room. There was twelve of us and there was only enough room for six people! So all the girls would normally sit on their boyfriends lap than sit on the floor.

“AND WHERE HAVE YOU TWO BEEN?!” Louis winked jokingly. I felt my cheeks burn and I looked to Niall who looked staright to the floor trying not to smile.

“How are you today? It was a tough day yesterday!” Harry exclaimed 

“I’m fine, a couple of my bruises still hurt but I just want to forget about it and move on. Jake is out of my life and that’s how I want it to stay.” I smiled. I noticed that as soon as I mentioned bruises, all the boy’s head’s squirmed and they all shuddered.

“Why would someone do that to a girl? It’s disgusting!” Liam whispered under his breath obviously loud enough for Niall to hear.

“Well, we don’t know what went through that sick, twisted prick’s mind. Lucky we found out, he seems capable of anything.” Niall said to Liam.

“Guys, will you just shut up please? I don’t want to hear his name again. I don’t want to speak about him, till I need to.” I snapped.

“Sorry,” Niall and Liam said in unison.

“Shall we watch a film or something?” Emily asked, trying to diffuse the tension

“Good idea!” I said, looking to Niall. He gave me a cute wobbly smile and I nodded at him.

“GUYS!” Niall announced, everyone turning to him “We know this is strange, and quick. But, me and Sophie, we’re together!”

Everyones faces just turned into joy and shock.

“Get in there Nialler!” Louis winked

“Awwww, its not too quick. You’re perfect for eachother!” Amy smiled while giving me a hug.

Aiden grabbed Taken from the shelf of DVD’s and we all sat down. Me and Niall decided to sit on the floor so we could have a hug. I sat inbetween his legs and rested my head on his chest. He stroked my hair as I fell asleep. Life was finally perfect, for the first time in a year, I was happy.
