Chapter Five

Violet's POV

I saw Danny walking in with Kyle. I ran up to him and pulled him aside. "Hey?" Danny said, but sounding like a question, probably thinking it was weird of me pulling him aside. "Do you hate Ty?" I asked getting to my point. "Yeah, I guess hate could be the right word. Why?" He asked with an eyebrow raised. "I need revenge." I stated. Now Danny was paying more attention. "How can I help?" "I need you to be my boyfriend or fake boyfriend." I said. "Ah, I see where you are coming from and I'll be more than happy to help you." Danny said with excitement. "Really. Okay, but we have to much it official in front of Ty and we can not tell anyone because word might get out and that would be bad." I said hoping he would agree with it. "Yeah, but your brother might kill me because we spent a total of 3 hours on the phone last night saying how I can't hook up with you." Danny said with a slight smile. "Well my brother is just going to suck it up because we are madly in love." I said giggling. "Indeed we are." Danny said walking with me and putting an arm around my shoulder. 

We were walking and disgusting our plan when Zoey came up to me with disappointment. "Hey Zoe." I said beaming. "Hey Violet, hi Dan." Violet said whispering the last part. "Hey Zoey." Danny said kind of embarrassed. I looked between them because they wouldn't make eye contact. I will talk with her later. "Come on Violet, we need to go to class." I just nodded my head and went with Zoey. "Are you okay?" I asked because Zoey was being awfully quiet. "Yeah just really tired." She said walking ahead to her own class. I know something is bothering her, but I won't push it right now. 

I walked into math and saw a face I hated with a passion. Ty fricking Collins. He had a DIFFERENT girl on his arm. I gagged, rolled my eyes, then gagged again. The only empty seat that was left was right next to him. I actually liked math, but he ruined it. I saw him smirking and looking at me. "Hey slut." He said loud enough for China to hear. "Excuse me, but a slut is a women who has many casual sexual partners and last time I checked, I don't have casual sexual partners." I said with a smirk. There were a lot of 'ohhhs' coming from the classroom. Ty looked shocked, but covered it up quickly. "Then I'm not a player." He said while leaning back. "But you are cause a player is someone who uses people for their own needs and moves on like they don't care and frankly I have seen you with three different girls in the past hour. Think about that." I said turning towards the front. 

I could tell that Ty was utterly shocked that I could come up with this stuff. Ty needs to know that I don't get pushed around. Class was finally over and I made my way out the door. I saw Zoey putting away books. I walked up to her and waved. She gave me a small smile and walked away. I just stood there not knowing what to do. She didn't even say hi back or anything. I felt hurt. I've been here three days and I have already done something to make my best friend not  wanting to  talk with me.

Another boring class went by and don't ask me what class it was because I just show up and act like I care. It was finally lunch and I was excited cause this will be the time my plan is put into action. I walked into the lunch room and saw Danny. He smirked at me knowing our plan is about to happen. I turn my attention to Ty, who was sucking another girl's face. I really hate his guts. 

I walk over to Violet and smile. She gave me a blank face. "Did I do something to upset because if I did, I probably did it not knowing." I said sitting down. "It's just Danny was my ex and we broke up because I told Ty that I was single because I was mad at Danny because he forgot about our date. So I kissed Ty, more like make out just to get back at him, but Ty said we were screwing but that was not true. I still have feelings for him and seeing you and him walking down the halls together like that made me a little angry at you. I still think he likes me too and I was going to talk with him an-" Violet was cut off by Danny. CRAP! "Can I have your attention please." Danny said standing up on a table. "Yes, hi. Okay um, sorry little nervous." Danny said with a slight laugh and smile. "Okay so anyways I'm here because I want to ask out a very special girl." I heard Violet gasp and I sighed I felt so bad. "I, Danny Jacobs, want to ask Violet Day to be my girlfriend." I smiled and looked at Zoey; she looked like she wanted to cry. Instead of crying she left the lunch room. I saw Danny catch a glimpse of Zoey and sighed. I looked back at Danny. I wanted to say no, but I needed to get Ty back. I put on the best, happiest smile and said, "Yes, Danny I would love to be your girlfriend." Danny, then jumped off the table and jogged over to me. He wrapped me in a hug and twirled me around. It sounded cliche, but it had our own touch to it because Danny let me dropped right on my butt. "You're lucky I like you." I said laughing while Danny helped me up.
