Chapter 11

Violet's POV

I woke up and I groaned. It was Friday which means I'm probably going to get my ass dragged to a party. Don't get me wrong, I like parties, but with the events that happened last night, no thanks. I got out of bed and yawned. I looked at the time and it was 6:23. Woke up before my alarm, great. I opened my door and walked downstairs. My eyes widen and I quickly shut them. I just saw my brother, Keith, and Katherine practically sucking each other faces. "Get a room." I stated while grabbing a brownie. "Wait don't eat that." Keith said, but it was too late, I had the brownie in my mouth. "Why?" I said with my mouth full of food. "It was a hash brownie." Katherine said looking down. My eyes widen for the second time. I spit out the brownie and got some milk. "Why did you make those!" I screamed. I saw Keith trying to hold back laughter and Katherine had a smile playing at her lips. "What is so funny?" I asked putting my hands on my hip. "It's just those aren't hash brownies. Kat brought them over this morning so I can take them to work and I didn't want you to have any." Keith said smiling and laughing. "You idiot." I said. I eyed the brownies and on a count of three, in my head, I grabbed the plate and headed upstairs. "Hey!" I heard Kyle scream. I was laughing and locked myself in my room. 

I took a brownie and bit into it. I smiled and ate more of it. Something tapped my window. I looked over and saw Ty. I opened my window and said, "Yes?" "I didn't mean to leave you there last night. I am really sorry and hopefully you can forgive me?" He asked. "I want to know why you have to pay that guy money?" I asked. Ty sighed and said, "It's really not important." "It is important. Are you selling drug, taking drugs, what?" I asked. Ty's eyes widen and said, "Hell no. I wouldn't get myself mixed up in that. Haven't you read stories about people coming out of gangs and then their leaders want to kill them, I like my life, no thanks." "Then what is it?" I pushed again. "Violet it's nothing." Ty said rubbing a hand down his face. "Then I don't know if I can accept your apology." I stated then closed my window and walked away.

I unlocked my door and saw Keith there with an evil look. The brownies! I ran towards the brownies, but before I could get to them, I was thrown on my bed. Keith started tickling me and I was laughing to hard that it hurt. My lungs were really starting to hurt and at one point I couldn't breath. Keith notice this and stopped instantly. "Vi, Violet breath." Keith was saying, I just couldn't catch my breath. "Kyle! Kyle!" Keith was yelling. The last thing I saw was Kyle and Katherine running in.

I woke up to beeping noises. I put my hand to my forehead and I felt some sweat. My eyes fluttered open and I saw 6 pairs of eyes looking at me. I looked at all three (Keith, Kyle, and Danny) and said, "Don't just stand there, get me some water." They all got out of the trance and scrambled to get water. I sighed. Boys will be boys. "One person get me water. I don't need three cups." I said with an eye roll. They all had looks of "riiiiight" on their faces. Kyle and Danny sat down on the chairs while Keith went to get the doctor. I hit my palm to my face. "What?" Danny asked. "I still haven't gotten my water." I said. Danny quickly got up, but quickly fell down again. I was laughing really hard and my lungs felt like they don't have a lot of oxygen in them. "Vi!" Kyle whinnied. "What?" I asked taking the cup of water from Danny. "You can't laugh that hard, or push yourself too hard." Kyle said rubbing his hand down his face. "Keith was tickling you and you were laughing to hard and your lungs couldn't get oxygen. You have asthma, but the kind where if you push yourself to hard you'll faint." Danny said. "But what about soccer. It's my dream to be a soccer player." I said. "Sorry sis, but you are going to have to give that up." Kyle said giving me a half smile.
