Chapter 12

Violet's POV

I was currently sitting in the kitchen of Ty's grandma's house. I looked around and notice so many pictures of people. I saw a picture of Ty in his diaper drinking from the hose. I silently laughed. "Yeah, yeah make fun of that picture, but hey, I looked damn cute." Ty said. "Tymen!" Rosie, Ty's grandma said. "Grandma!" Ty, or Tymen, whinnied. "Tymen?" I asked, not hiding the chuckle that was bound to come out of my mouth. "Yes, my name is Tymen, but I'm changing it to just Ty when I turn 20." Ty said. "You will do no such thing young man. That was my father's name and you should be proud to have it." Rosie said giving him the stern finger. "Grams, I am changing. No one from this century is named Tymen." Ty tried to argue. "I don't care, you will not change your name over my dead grave." Rosie said while getting out ice cream. "Mom already approved." Ty said sounding like a 5 year old. "Your mother doesn't know what she is talking about." Rosie said shaking her head. "I think Ty should  change his name. It's kind of weird." Julie said looking up from her phone. "Now don't go siding with him young lady." "Grams, face it, you're out numbered." Ty said smugly. 

Rosie turned to me and smirked, just like Ty. "Violet, darling, do you think Ty should change his name?" I smirked back and looked at Ty, who was telling me with his eyes to say yes, but yes didn't exist in my vocabulary right now. "Why, Rosie, I think it's an amazing name. He shouldn't change it, in fact people at school should know his actually name." I said looking at Ty. Ty gave me a look that said 'you-suck.-

I spent the rest of the afternoon talking with Ty, Rosie, and Julie. I learned today that Juile is Ty's cousin and lives with her grandma because Rosie has cancer in her legs or something and needs help around the house. It was around 5:30 when we decided we should leave. Ty and I walked out and headed towards the car. There was one question that I was dying to ask Ty once we get in the car.

We got in the car and started to drive. I figured now would be a good time to ask the question. "Is she your adoptive grandma?" "What?" Ty asked, startled by the question. "Is she your adoptive grandmother." I repeated. "Um no." Ty said. Now it was my turn to say what. "My mom, Jenny, is my biological mother, my dad was just a sperm donor and now I have two moms." Ty explained. "Well I thought you were going to say some crazy shit that would have me running for the hills." I said while laughing. "I don't have secrets that would have you running for the hills, I hope." Ty said.

We pulled up to Ty's driveway and got out. "Thanks for the phone day Ty. I had a lot fun." I said honestly. "I'm glad. I'll see ya later Vi." Ty said as we parted our ways to our houses. I walk into my house to Kyle reacting a scene from Risky Business. The part when Tom Cruise is sliding around in socks, underwear, and a white dress shirt. "Why are you always doing stupid stuff when I walk into a room." I said. With Kyle hearing my voice, he froze in spot. "You walk past me, up the stairs to your room, and you forget what you just saw." Kyle told me still facing away from me. I laughed, but did what I was told. 

I walked into my room to see Danny on my bed tossing one of my soccer balls up in the air. "Hey Dan." I said closing my door. Danny looked at me and smiled. He got off the bed and came towards me. He pulled me into a hug and then kissed me. I smiled against the kiss. "Is there anything you needed?" I asked pulling away. "Yeah. I called you a few times today and you didn't answer, so I came by around 4:30 and waited till you came home." He said. "Aw you were worried about me." I said pinching his cheeks playfully. He rolled his eyes, but smiled and pried my hands off his face. "Where were you?" He asked. Crap! If I told him I was with Ty, he would be mad, but if I lied to him and he found out I lied to him, he would also be mad. "I was with, um, Ty." I whispered Ty's name.

I looked up to Danny and saw his eyes widen. "Ty, as in Ty, the guy who left you last night in that part of town?" I asked. I nodded. "What the hell Violet? Why would you hang out with him. He left you unprotected." Danny yelled. "Dan, he wanted to apologize and make his bad actions right. He took me to ice cream." I didn't tell Danny about getting ice cream at his grandma's house because I didn't think he needed every little detail. "So you guys basically went on a date. What? Did you guys also kiss and hold hands!" Danny raised his voice yet again. "It was not a date. We are just friends Danny. And if you can't trust me to make the right choices then I don't think this relationship is going to work." I yelled back. Danny took a minute to look at my eyes and then left. 

That was it; no more Danny and Violet. I sat on my bed and cried. I can't believe Danny left me because he couldn't trust me. Since you're single, maybe you and Ty can get together. I thought. I suddenly panicked. Why do I want to get with Ty? I don't have feelings for him. But you did think of him when you kissed Danny. My brain argued with me. Maybe I do have feelings for Ty, but probably physically attraction is all. Plus, I just got out of a relationship and that would be like Ty is the rebound.

I got underneath the covers and fell asleep. I just need to rest tomorrow and face school Monday and worry about crap then. After all my thoughts have settled down, I drifted into a wonderful sleep.

Hey people! Sorry I didn't update for 2 weeks, but I finally updated. I had a minor writers block, but I think 7 more chapters of this story and then I'll wrap it up. Since it's my first story, I don't want it to be too long because this story is only an experiment. My next stories will be well written with little to no errors. I hope you enjoy this because I enjoy writing. Also give me advice in my writing skills. Anything helps really.
