Chapter 9

Violet's POV

Lunch ended and I have a free period next. Since I've taken the lead in getting Kyle and Cal to go to the dance together, they have been talking at LOT more! I'm glad, my brother hasn't had a proper girlfriend in a while. I know Kyle and Cal aren't dating, yet. 

I walked into the library and sat at an empty table. I put in my ear buds and jammed out to Shane Harper. I loved his voice so much. I was listening to one step closer when hands went around my eyes. Ugh, what's with people today and covering my eyes. I yet again put my hands on the other hands feeling them so I could have an idea who it is. "Kyle?" I asked. The person uncovered my eyes and I turned around. It was Danny. "I can't believe you thought of your brother before your boyfriend." Danny said. "Fake boyfriend." I reminded him. "Actually..." He trailed off. "Yes?" I asked. "I don't know about you, but I kind of like you now and was wondering if we could actually date. I can take you on real dates and stuff." Danny said. 

My heart stopped. Do I say yes or no? I mean, yeah I have a small crush on Danny, but can I actually date him? I thought about it and came up with my answer. "Sure, you can actually take me on real dates." I said smiling. He smiled big and proud. He even did a fist pump in the air and a victory dance. I was laughing at his expression. "Oh! I'll be right back." Danny said walking out of the library. I shrugged and went back to my music. 5 minutes later, Danny came back a pizza box. He handed me the box and told me to open it. The inside of the box said, "I know this is cheesy but will you go to the formal with me?" The pizza had pepperoni on it and the pepperoni spelled out Danny, but in front of Danny was a dash indicating he was asking me. 

I looked back up to him and smiled. I notice he had a dozen roses in his hand. I got up from the table and kissed him. I know we just started to actually date, I've kissed him enough time. "I would love to go to formal with you." I said giving me a hug. He laughed and said, "Good. I wouldn't have stopped bothering you if you said no." "Is this why you weren't at lunch?" I asked. "Yeah. I picked this stuff up then." He said. I nodded my head. 

The bell rung. I pouted because I wanted to eat my pizza. "I can put it in the office and we can eat it later." Danny said playfully rolling his eyes. I smiled and kissed him. I picked up my stuff and took Danny's hand. We walked out of the library. My eyes widen when I realize I have to change for gym. I kissed Danny on the cheek and ran towards the girl's locker room. I sprinted in the room and changed mighty quick. 

I raced out to the field to see the coach already starting. Maybe if I creep in there he wo-. "I see you Ms. Day. Five laps around the track. Go!" Coach said. I rolled my eyes, but did it anyway. Five laps was not bad, but I'm a soccer player and I'm in shape. (Oh! you didn't know that, well I am and I love it!) I finished the laps and went over to the rest of the class. I saw Kyle and waved. He gave me a little wave and went back talking with his friends. 

Oh, hell no. I walked up to Kyle and jumped on his back. He instantly wrapped his arms around my thighs. His friends were looking me up and down like I was on a display case. "Hey Jenny." Kyle said smirking. I whacked his head, HARD! "I am not Jenny. I'm your twin sister." I said. He eyes widen and he let me down. "What do you want?" Kyle said rudely. "I came to say hi to you, but no I'm 'Jenny.' What the heck?" I said then stomped away over to...no one. Everyone was giving me dirty looks. I forgot; I'm hated here. Someone backed into me and shoved me a little. I turned around, ready to explode, but I don't. I see it's Tony and smile a little. "Hey." I said. "I heard you made up with Ty." He said, not even making small talk before. "How'd you know?" I asked. "Me and Ty happen to be very close." He said smirking. 

My eyes widen a bit. I talked smacked about Ty to one of his good friends. "Don't worry, I didn't say anything to him." He said. I relaxed. "Pair up kids." Coach said. I was about to ask Tony if he wants to be my partner, but someone spoke to me. "Wanna be my partner, Violet?" Ty asked. "Sure." I said. 

Coach told us to get a basketball and play one on one. I play some ball with Keith, but I'm not good. I got into a position so I could move easily. Ty start out with the ball. He was amazing. He easily faked me out and went in for a lap-up. 

1 hour later

I went to the bleachers and sat down. I was out of breath. Ty won; 78-14. It was a bad lost. I looked over to Ty who was barely sweating a drop. I walked up to him and started to touch his face. He gave me a confuse face. "How are you not sweating a pig. I'm so sweaty, it's disgusting." I said, now feeling my face. "It was a mini workout. Nothing big." He said shrugging. "Nothing big?" I asked. "That was an hour of practically doing squats so I could at least try to move with you." I said. "Well I had the ball more often. There is no need to squat there." He said. "I want a rematch." I mumbled. "Okay. How about we do it here? Have it as a school event to raise money for the basketball teams." Ty said completely serious. He must have notice my nervousness because he then added, "Or are you to scare to loose to the great, almighty Ty Collins." He said doing a superman pose. "Pst, me scared. Naw. You should be scared because I. Will. Kick. Your. Butt." I said lying through the whole thing. I could never win. "Okay you are on. I'll talk with the principle. We should call it Good vs Bad: The Good Girl against The Bad Boy." He said. "Call it whatever you want, but I think it should be called; Violet Day is kicking Ty Collins' ass." I said smirking and walking away. I could hear Ty's laughter from behind me. 

School has ended and apparently Ty has already told people about the match because I had no one rooting for me. The principle approved the event and said it was a nice change to have Ty actually participate in a school event. I was so screwed. I need Kyle, Danny, and Keith's help if I'm going to win this thing. 

I went on twitter and saw that the event was trending. People from different schools were going to be there. Yep, looks like its going to be basketball all day everyday. I walked up to my car and got in. I was about to start the car when someone tapped my window. I rolled down my window to see Danny. I automatically smiled. "Forgot about our pizza date?" Danny asked getting in. I face palmed myself and smiled. "Sorry. Have you heard about the basketball game? I'm so screwed." I said grabbing for a piece of pizza and putting it in my mouth. "Yeah I saw. You better wish God has a miracle for you up his sleeve." Danny said also eating pizza. "Maybe you, Kyle, and Keith can help me practice." I said grabbing for my second piece. "I guess we could, but." Danny said. "But what?" I whined. I needed help. "Only if I get to kiss you whenever and wherever." He said. I rolled my eyes. "You already do that." I said wiping my mouth with my sleeve. "Yeah, but this time if you don't want a kiss, you can't back down." He said smiling. I laughed but agreed. 

"So I got to go pick up my brother, but I will call you tonight." Danny said leaning over kissing my cheek. "K, bye." I said. He waved and got out. I put my key in the ignition. Ha I should play remix to ignition. No? Okay. I was going to pull out when someone else tapped on my window. I rolled it down and saw Danny. "Yes." I said. "I forgot something." With that he leaned in a kissed me. I smiled against the kiss. Danny was a great boyfriend. Wonder if Ty would be a great boyfriend too. Wow! Back it up. Ty? Why did I think of him while kissing Danny. Danny pulled away and smiled. I smiled back and finally backed. I'm still confused to as why Ty popped into my mind. 

I know it's short, but I figured I wouldn't know when I would update again. Anyways, I would like to dedicate this chapter to quelquel1206 because she votes and comments which I love! Also I would really like it if this story went far. I would take advice of how to make this story better and what needs  approving. Anything is great. Message me or whatever. Seriously, I would love it. Now it's been a lot of Danny and Violet moments, but something between them will happen.
