Chapter 8

Violet's POV

Standing there is no other than Zoey. She had a smug look on her face and so did Ty. I swear this dinner better be done quick. "Come on in." Ty said opening the door wider. "Thanks." Keith said forcing  a smile. "Hey Vi, is that a new top." Zoey said with a smirk, while twirling her hair. "Yeah." I said and walked right past her. "Mom, the Days' are here." Ty said. We all walking into the family room where a shorter women was putting out coasters. "Oh, hello. I'm Mrs. Collins. As you can tell we are your neighbors." She said laughing. "Hi, I'm Keith, this is Kyle, and that's Violet." Keith said pointing at each of us when they said our name. "Oh nice to meet you. Are your parents coming?" She asked sweetly. We all looked at each other awkwardly. Mrs. Collins must have notice this because she changed the topic. "Oh, I think dinner is ready, come, come." She said gesturing to follow her. 

I walked past Zoey, first and I saw her eyes kind of soften when my parents were mentioned. I'm glad she hasn't said anything because I hate to be pity. We walked into the living room where the table was set very nicely. "Honey, is dinner ready.?" Mrs Collins asked. "Just about." I heard another women's voice. First I was confused, then I remember Ty saying he had gay parents, which I have nothing against. A women comes out and my eyes widen. She was gorgous. I would turn gay just for her. She had dark brown hair with lighter brown highlights on top, brown eyes that pop, and a pretty complexion. The other Mrs. Collins was pretty too; she had long brown hair, dark brown eyes, and pearl white teeth, kinda like Ty's. 

"Hi, I'm Keith, this is Kyle, and that's Violet." Keith stated again. "Hello, I'm Sandara. Are your par-" She stopped talking because, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mrs. Collins giving her the shut up look. "Please sit down, and dinner will be right out." She said smiling then turning around. 

We sat down and my brothers talked with everyone. "So do you guys know Ty and Zoey from school?" Jenny, Mrs. Collins, asked. "Yeah. I've known Zoey since we were little. And I see Ty walking around the halls." I stated. "How do you know Zoey if you just moved here?" Jenny asked. "We use to live here then we moved." Keith said. "Oh, that's lovely. Well, I'm going to see what's taking so long." Jenny said standing up. 

She left the room and I heard a sigh. I looked up too see who sighed. "So Violet where did you get that mark on your hand, it looks new." Zoey asked, knowing she is going to cause trouble. I looked down and saw I had a cut that was fresh. I remember the events from today, when Zoey knocked me over, my hand was cut on a branch that was on the ground, "Just a branch cut me, whe you pushed my down." I said, whispering the last part. "She made you cry." Keith said into my ear. I just nodded. 

I looked over to Keith who was smiling ear to ear, looking at Zoey. Zoey had a huge crush on Keith when she was 15. "Hey Zoey." Keith said. She blushed and said. "Yeah." "Why do you treat my sister like crap?" He said getting serious. "Easy, she took my boyfriend from me." She said glaring at me. "Danny and you were over when Danny asked Violet out. You're the one who cheated on Danny with this loser." Kyle said motioning to Ty. "What do you mean loser? I am no loser. You better keep your mouth shut." Ty said. Is it wrong for me to think that Ty looks really hot when he gets mad? It's wrong...darn it. "Make me. I didn't even want to come do this dinner when the guy who made my sister cry was going to be here and now I have to eat dinner with someone else made my sister cry. "I didn't make the bitch cry. She just can't take the truth!" Ty shouted. I froze. He called me a bitch, infront of my brothers. Yeah, he just lost 30 points on the hotness scale. "Did you just call me sister a bitch?" Keith asked turning his attention from Zoey to Ty. "I did and I think she is a whore." Ty said smugly. I felt my eyes water. Zoey's eyes even went a little wide when Ty said that. "What did you just say." Keith said pointing a finger at Ty. I'm surprise Mrs and Mrs Collins haven't came out yet.
