CHAPTER - 21

I LOVE MY EYES, WHEN YOU LOOK INTO THEM....

I LOVE MY NAME, WHEN YOU SAY IT....

I LOVE MY HEART, WHEN YOU TOUCH IT....

AND I LOVE MY LIFE, WHEN YOU'RE IN IT....

"Let me introduce you to my friends..", Jungkook mumbled giving the six standing males behind him a knowing look.

"1.2.3. HELLO WE ARE BTS!!"

You bowed back in respect as Jack reached forward to hug the boys' obviously shocking you. You gave Jack a look before thinking of saying something to break the awkward silence.

"Excuse me, Sorry, but would you mind if I borrow him for a second?", You asked with a fake smile gesturing towards Jack. 

"Of-course not!", RM replied with a sweet smile making you almost coo at the visible dimples of the tall male. Almost.

You nodded and literally dragged Jack to the side before whisper-screaming in his ear, "WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING HERE??!! I CLEARLY REMEMBER TELLING YOU TO INVITE ONLY CLOSE FRIENDS! I'VE TALKED TO THEM LIKE ONCE, AND THAT TO WAS TOO AWKWARD TO BE COUNTED AS A REAL CONVERSATION!!"

"Come On, Who are you kidding? Even if you haven't told me I KNOW that you've talked to them in school. Plus, they're really cool dudes, I talked to them at the party before and decided to invite them over.", Jack shrugged as you saw a slight smirk form on his lips.

"HOW COME DO YOU KNOW THAT!! YOU HAVEN'T EVER STEPPED OUT THAT VAN??!!"

"Ell, I'm your Math teacher... remember? Plus I NEED to make sure that you are in a healthy environment and are safe... So it's pretty obvious that I know who you talk to at school...."

"YOU'RE STALKING ME!???!"

"I wouldn't put it like that if I were you...", Jack mumbled, embarrassed at getting caught.

"Of-course you wouldn't... ughhhh I HATE YOU!!", You whined as you groaned in frustration.

"Aww, So sweet... I love me too", Jack giggled childishly as he made finger hearts before grabbing your hand and gently pulling you back towards the boys' who were standing there suspiciously whispering and fanboying.  

You cleared your throat with a slight hint of authority grabbing everyone's attention. 

"I haven't introduced myself properly now have I?", You said as a gentle smile adorned your face.

"My name is Elena Wood, daughter and heir to Jihyun and Peter Wood and this is my personal assistant and a very good friend Jack.", You introduced yourself shortly, smiling slightly at your friend. "I apologize if I acted weird or rude a minute ago, I wasn't really myself.....", You trailed off, bowing after a minute of silence.

"Oh No!! Please don't apologize! And as a matter of fact, you weren't rude at all, Ms. Wood.", RM exclaimed bowing back at you.

"You guys' sure are something...", You said, smirk widening as you saw them blush.

"I'll be taking my leave then.", You said as you handed your empty wine glass to Jack motioning him to refill it.

"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!!", V who had been surprisingly quite all this time, exclaimed as You and Jack harshly spun back around, eyes widened at V's sudden outburst and choice of words.

"Ugh-h I-I mean... You just got here, We should at least tre-treat you to some drinks.." , V mumbled, embarrassed.

"I apologize but I think I'll have to turn down your appreciated offer, Mr. Kim. Even if I have very high alcohol tolerance, I can't afford to get drunk now can I?.... And I'm sorry if I am not able to stay for long, but I'm a busy woman, I have to greet the other guests as well.", You said with a slight smile, surprising the male, by pulling him into a brief side-hug, repeating the action by hugging the others as well making them a blushing mess.

"I hope you enjoy yourself throughout the night.", You said passing them a last smile  before following Jack out of the private lounge releasing a breath you didn't realize you had been holding.

"Come On, We got a lot of people to meet.", Jack said as he dragged you towards the seating area.

It would have been weird to think that you HATED talking to people you yourself had invited to your party, but that was exactly how you were feeling right now. You just wanted to chill at your place with a tub of strawberry ice-cream, maybe even invite Jenny and Jack over for a slumber party. You sighed as you finished talking with the last guest leading Jack to the bar to find your best friend.

"ELLAAA, JACKIEEEE!!!!! YOURR BACK?? I WASS WAITING FORRR YOUUU...",  Jenny managed to slur before passing out in Jack's arms.

"She'll be Okay Huh??", You mocked Jack as he picked Jenny up bridal style ready to leave.

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!", Jack screamed before running out with Jenny in his arms, leaving you chuckling at your friend's childishness.   

"Aish..", You mentally face-palmed before running as fast as you could, after him.
