"Quiet, you!"

• • •

You were laying on the king-sized bed that belonged to you and Mark. You were trying to nap, and you were just about to doze off. Mark was out buying popcorn; You guys wanted to have a movie night, and what was a movie without any popcorn? You were also secretly hoping he would buy you some chocolate; You were craving it lately!

You were almost about to fall asleep when you heard something loud:

BOOM!

Thunder. You immediately shot up from the bed, breathing heavily. Chica, who was laying with you, whimpered and cuddled up next to you.

"Mark...." You said under your breath. You hopped out of the bed and ran to the living room where your phone was. You picked it up and called your boyfriend immediately. Your heart did backflips as you listened to the sounds of the dial tone in your ear.

"Hey!" You heard Mark answer. "Everything okay?" He asked, as if he knew something was wrong. You took deep, heavy breaths before saying:

"Th-thunder, Mark. There's thunder out. Please hurry home." You said, trying to remain as calm as you possibly could. Mark just chuckled softly;

"I'm fine, (Y/N). I'm actually right in front of the door." A huge sigh of relief exited your mouth as you ran to the front door and opened it for your boyfriend. His hair was soaked, along with his close; his phone was still pressed to his ear has he smiled at you.

You sighed happily. Mark stepped into your shared apartment and picked you up, dropping the groceries onto the floor. You felt his wet clothes cling to you as he spun you around.

"Thank God you're okay..." You said, still a little nervous for some reason. He put you back down on the floor and picked up the grocery bags. "Why wouldn't I be okay?" Mark asked you. He walked over to the counter and placed the groceries down while you shut the door.

"I don't know." You said. "I just don't want anyone to get hurt." Mark chuckled;

"Come on, babe. We both know you're terrified of thunder." He said. You shrugged. You weren't going to deny it, you were terrified of thunder. Loud booms that the sky creates on its own? HOW?! "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever." You said, digging through the grocery bags.

You dug around to find a king sized Kit-Kat bar under some dog-treats Mark must've bought for Chica. You looked at him with a grateful expression;

"You are so getting some lovin' later tonight." You said, serious as ever. Your man chuckled sexily;

"You don't need to thank me. I can tell when you're craving chocolate." He said, kissing your forehead. "The chocolate cravings must mean that you're period is coming up, no?" He asked, unloading the rest of the bags.

You checked your period app. According to Flo, your period was supposed to come in three days.

Mark was a period god.

"You're right!" You said in amazement. "How did you know?" You asked. He laughed once again. "(Y/N), we've been dating for almost six years, I know when you're menstruating and when you're not." You gave Mark a sexy smile and walked toward him slowly. You rubbed his chest and pulled on his shirt.

"How about we have a little fun before I'm all bloody and gross?" You asked in a sexy voice. Your boyfriend grabbed you by the hips and pulled you in close. "Manners, please." He said, grinning.

You got closer to his ear, whispering:

"Can we please have some fun?"

This made Mark shiver, and you could feel him starting to get aroused; he smashed his lips onto yours.

That's when everything went dark.

You both immediately broke the kiss and looked around. "Did the power just go out?" Mark asked. You nodded your head in response. "Yeah, I think so." You said. Mark went to the kitchen light switched and tried flicking it on and off.

Nothing.

"Damn!" He said in frustration. "We can't have our movie night now!" You calmed your boyfriend down. "It's okay, Markimoo," you said. "go find some candles or something because we need to see." He nodded and headed to the bathroom, which is where you guys kept your scented candles.

While he grabbed them, you found a lighter in the junk drawer. Mark came out of the bathroom a few seconds later, his hands filled with different scented candles. You ran over to him to help carry some; the last thing you needed was glass scattered on the floor in your dark apartment.

You placed down the candles and looked at which scents were which:

There was one chocolate cake, One cinnamon bun, two apple cinnamon, and three vanilla.

Clearly Mark bought these, being that they were all food scented.

You took the time and lit each one. While you lit the candles, Mark was holding his phone in the air. "Are you kidding me? There's no signal either! The wifi and service are down. This is bullshit!" He said, tossing his phone on the carpet.

You placed one of the vanilla-scented candles on the table and giggled;

"Well it looks like you're going to have to actually interact with me instead of looking at your stupid phone." You said. Mark gave you and annoyed look but ended up giving you a pity laugh.

"So," You sat on the couch and turned to face him. "what do you wanna do?" You asked. Mark just shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know." He said, taking off his Darkiplier hoodie revealing his plain white t-shirt.

"Remember when we were in high school and we first started dating, and we would just cuddle and talk about meaningless shit?" You asked. Mark nodded;

"Of course I remember."

"Wanna do that?"

Mark didn't answer, he just opened his arms wide. You crawled into his arms; he wrapped you so tight. Mark was laying on his back while you laid on yours in between his legs. His arms were wrapped around you.

You get his lips kiss your head, and you couldn't help but smile.

With both of you working and planning the next tour, it was hard for the both of you to just lay down and relax like this.

It was nice.

"So, I'm thinking of inventing this new thing." Mark said breaking the silence. You giggled. "What is it?" You asked. "Well," Mark continued. "it's this contraption that dips the cookie in the milk for you. Then, once it's soft and ready, it takes it out for you. That way, there's no cookie breakage.

You couldn't help but laugh at this ridiculous idea.

"That can't help all nations worldwide!" You said in between laughs. "Cookie breakage is a serious issue!" You continued. Mark playfully pinched your cheeks. "Quiet you!" He said in a cute voice. "Laugh now, but you'll see. You'll alllllll seeeee!" He said. You laughed.

You continued to talk for almost an hour, a subject popping up every few minutes.

"Are you kidding me babe?!" You said. "Clouds are not giant marshmallows! We've been over this!"

"How will I know for sure if you won't let me taste them?" He asked, his voice was soft.

"You can't taste them. It's going to be very hard to do so!" You replied.

Then there was silence.

"Babe?" You asked. More silence. The silence was followed by a loud snore, which might I say was louder than the thunder.

Mark had fallen asleep, and soon enough, you did too.

You fell asleep in your boyfriends arms, listening to the raindrops outside along with his snores.

It was a good blackout.
