Analogical Part 12

Warning: Panic attacks thoroughly described in this chapter. Also, Bold but not italicized is Deceit. Italicized is thoughts. Italicized and bold is me.

Virgil's POV

Time slows down. 

I can't breathe.

My mind won't stop racing.

I can't move.

All other sounds are muffled by my thoughts.

They hate you.

"VIRGE!" Logan is obviously screaming but I can barely hear him. Roman breaks down my door and Logan runs in.

Patton hates you.

Patton follows.

How could Logan ever love you, you're ANXIETY.

Logan touches my forehead with his and says, "Look at me."

His voice is still muffled. I keep my eyes shut.

"LOOK AT ME!" he says, louder this time.

Don't. He hates you.

I'm shaking now.

He doesn't love you, nobody does.

Logan grabs my shoulders now, but I don't feel it. 

Nobody loves you, nobody under--

Logan kisses me. 

My attack comes to a stop as quickly as it had started.

I kiss Logan back. Positivity flows from him into me like a waterfall.

Logan's POV

I couldn't get Virgil to respond. 

His eyes twitching wildly beneath his eyelids. 

Trembling so much I thought he was going to hurt himself. 

I grab his shoulders but it's like he doesn't feel it.

I don't even think. I kiss him.

He jolts back into reality, and kisses me back.

I try to radiate positivity into him as much as possible. Patton sees my struggle and puts his hand on my shoulder. It works.

We kiss for what feels like an eternity.

He slowly pulls away, and I pull away too.

We look at each other with love in our ey--

"I KNEW IT!!!" Roman screams, breaking the romanticism in the air. Patton nearly falls from surprise.

We all double over from laughter, except for Roman.

"I knew something was up between you two! A prince can spot love from a mile away!" Roman exclaims, resulting in us laughing even harder. "I must tell Thomas!" Roman says, already sinking into Thomas's conscience. 

"Stop him!" Virgil yells. Patton grabs Roman by his sash and pulls as hard as he can. I get up to help him. Unfortunately we're fighting the strongest of the sides (physically) and he sinks into Thomas's conscience.

We all sink in after him. Thomas is in his living room re-watching The Office Bloopers (for the millionth time!!!!!!!) 

"Hey guys?" he says, very confused seeing all of us trying to keep Roman's mouth shut.

Roman pushes us away and screams, "LOGANANDVIRGILAREACOUPLE!!!".

"Can you repeat that Roman, a little slower?" Thomas says. 

This catches Roman off guard and we all body tackle Roman and force him back into Thomas's subconscious. 

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT!" Virgil screams, "NOW THOMAS IS SUSPICIOUS! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?!"

Roman looks down in guilt, "sorry" he says.

"We'll deal with this later," I say, grabbing Virgil's shoulders. 

"Okay."
