Patton's POV
"It's ok kiddo, he won't tell Thomas, he's a prince of his word." I say, trying to calm my dark, strange son.
As soon as Roman sank into Thomas's consciousness Virgil started rocking back and forth, clearly on the edge of another panic attack.
I want to give him a hug so bad, but I don't want to freak him out even more. I turn to Logan, and he clearly doesn't know what to say. I would even say-
Oh no. Logan's gonna panic. DAD MODE: ACTIVATE!
I pull Logan aside and lift his chin to look at me.
"Kiddo, you know we can't help if you panic. I need you to be a big boy right now so we can help Virgil, okay?" I say to Logan as calmly and supportive as possible.
"O-Okay." Logan responds shakily. I give him the most supportive look I can muster up and turn back to Virgil.
Logan's POV
I hate that Patton treated me like a child. I am a "big boy" thank you.
But I suppose he's right; I have to stay calm to be able to help Virge.
I steady my voice as much as I can and say okay. My voice still shakes, but at least I'm not about to pass out anymore.
