"Just so you know, people like you are the one who makes it hard for LGBT people to live their life without any worries."

Walker looked at the waitress, stunned.

The beautiful girl whose head was wrapped with a hijab sighed as she gripped her cup before bringing it to her lip.

"What the fuck just happened?!" He exclaimed in disbelief. "Did the waitress accuse you being a homophobic just because you're a Muslim?"

Sana Kjell.

She is the daughter to one of his parent's business partner.

It was their usual gathering when he first met her, and Walker was bored to death as usual. His cousin, who he had not been excited to see was there too.

That's how he found Sana actually.

He was busy avoiding Haider that he accidentally pushed her elbow making her hand dropped a chocolate that she was eating.

Onto her white blouse.

Walker had panicked, looking around for a napkin while she stood there staring at him in amusement. He was surprised when she didn't yell at him instead she just wave her hand telling him not to bother.

She handed him her plate and told him to hold it for her.

He did exactly that. Then she started rearranging her shawl that she was wearing and somehow managed to cover the stain with it.

Walker remembered telling her how wicked and genius that was.

Instead of blushing, she grabbed the plate from him before winking and telling him not to tell her what she already knew.

And that made him laugh.

"It's my fault for staring." She smiled sadly. "She must have mistaken my stares as me judging them or being disgusted by them."

The reason of her staring was far from that.

Walker leaned back on his chair, scoffing. "That doesn't give her a fucking right to come and attack you like that for fuck sake!"

He threw a glance at the waitress who now had her back on him as she talked with a girl around her age.

He understood how bisexual or gay person could be defensive because of the bad experiences that they had in the past, but it doesn't make it cool for them to get all scorpion mode.

You got near a scorpion, it got afraid and it would sting you.

They did it to protect themselves, he got it. But do they have to hurt innocent person in order to do that?

"Calm down Walker. That's nothing new, I am used to it." She said, offering him a cookie knowing that it would calm him a little.

And it did.

"Still doesn't make it okay." He muttered, chewing his cookie angrily.
She shook her head as if telling him not to dwell on it.

"I know, but what can I do about it really? You think I haven't tried clearing up myself? I did, the first few times it happened." Sana crossed her arms, raising her eyebrows. "Even at my school I get some shits for not supporting LGBT. Just because I do not support them, doesn't mean that I hate them. I never call them names or treat them differently. I didn't think any less of them, in fact they deserve to live their life the way they wanted to without being harassed. It's just that, I wish people know that it hurts to have people calling you homophobic, just as much as being called a terrorist."

Walker reached forward to pat her head.

"The saddest part is that they even tried to stir my best friend away from me."

He remembered receiving a phone call from a crying Sana.

He remembered how upset she was when people tried to convince her best friend, Penny, to stay away from her.

"Maybe they are just trying to protect her, but I am no threat to anyone. I would never hurt Penny just because she is in love with a girl. In fact, I would never hurt anyone." She added.

"You know who you are better than anyone else, don't forget that Sana." Walker gazed into her eyes, "Don't take their opinions to heart or you would lose focus on what matters most."

He tapped her nose, "And that is you."

"Why are you wearing a tutu and a crown?"

That was not how he imagined his boyfriend's first meeting with his friends would be.

"I AM EMBRACING MY INNER PRINCESS OH YEAH!" Alexai yelled as he closed the door, ushering his friend in but still not noticing the boy that was standing behind Walker.

"This old woman told his son that boys can't be a princess." He said, beginning to rant. "Like why the hell no? I am pretty inside and out, therefore I am more than qualified to be THE FUCKING PRINCESS IF I WANT TO." Alexai yelled the last part making Walker groaned out loud.

Why does he have to choose today out of every other day.

"Did you have to yell? Oh god, you are hurting my ears." He rubbed his ears before turning to Juan who was still looking at Alexai with a grin on his face. He seemed to be enjoying the scene.

"I hope your ears aren't bleeding babe." Walker said, plastering a concern look on his face. "Maybe I should check it for you-"

He pouted when Juan smacked his chest lightly.

Sadly, his little bird didn't fall for his trap.

Damn.

He was just about to playfully bite Juan's ears and then maybe they could have a make out session before he introduced Juan to his friends, knowing well that the girls would be swarming around his little bird.

"Wait, back the fuck up."

A voice interrupted them.

Oops.

An awkward cough fell from Juan's lip. He elbowed Walker making the latter sigh before wrapping his arm around Juan's shoulder.

"This is my boyfriend, Juan." He bit his lip to stop smiling when he noticed how awkward Juan was smiling before gesturing to the host, "And Juan, that's Alexai."

Alexai scoffed, "Just Alexai?"

When Walker only grinned at him childishly, Alexai took it upon himself to get cosy with Juan as he went near the boy and pulled him away from Walker.

"Now I know what's gotten him so preoccupied lately." He winked at Juan before pulling him into a hug.
Juan patted his back awkwardly making Walker struggled to hold his chuckle.

He gave Walker an emergency SOS look when Alexai began dragging him towards the living room that was buzzing with noise. Walker mouthed 'don't worry, I won't let anything bad happen to you' in return.

He was glad that was enough to reassure Juan as he could see his body no longer tensing as it had before.

That was hours ago, and now all of them were watching horror movies that was suggested by Derek who earned himself few curses from Rose.

Rose wasn't a big fan of horror movie.

Walker tried to keep his eyes on the screen, yet it kept drifting away from it.

He couldn't stop himself from smiling at Juan who was shielding his view with Walker's palm. Juan wasn't afraid of ghosts but when it came to gore, he just couldn't stomach it.

He decided to stop focusing on the movie and turned his attention to Juan.

Walker played with Juan's hair which made Juan a bit distracted, not that he would ever admit it. "Your hair is really soft after you wash it." He whispered against Juan's ear.

"I used your shampoo," He heard Juan mumbled shyly.

Walker sniffed him shamelessly before grinning widely, "I love it when you smell like me."
