After Percy slapped the sea his veins began to turn green and he screamed his eyes rolling in the back of his head, Annabeth caught him fear flowing through her eyes she yelled "Magnus! Help him!"

The blonde headed demigod groaned crawling across the deck, he set his hand  on Percy's arm and a golden glow illumanating around him he grunted his back arching as his golden hair wipped in the wind, they both began to scream Linh cried out as she fell to the ground Fitz barely managing to catch her as the ocean waves grew stronger. The three connected with nature groaned, tears welling in their eyes.

"Too weak." Magnus groaned his hands falling off the son of Posedian. Percy's breathing became ragged his veins darkening and blood rolling off his lip, he began choking on his blood that slowly turned black. Annabeth cried "Heal him Magnus! Stop being useless!" Hurt flashed deeply in Magnus's grey eyes. I felt bad for the only healer.

Slowly I knelt next to Magnus and whispered "Try it again." Magnus's eyes flashed gold for a milisecond and he nodded pressing his hands to Percy's forearm, he began glowing again. "I-I cant." Percy looked at Annabeth his eyes gone the same color as Magnus's, Annabeth pressed her forehead to Percy's tears rolling down her face and dropping to Percy's cheeks.

I lurched forward my hand covering Magnus's. His eyes turned gold and he gasped the glow around him becoming blinding his back curling his veins turning gold under his skin and very visible. He gasped his hands glowing white and Percy screamed his back curling back his veins turning blue and his blood back to red, slowly the trickle stopped and his eyes where sea green again. He was breathing heavily but otherwise unharmed the blood on his lip vanished.

Jerking my hand away from Magnus the blinding glow around him dimished but his eyes where still gold, he sat up on his forearms and knees panting his hair sticking to his forehead, Annabeth stared at her cousin in astonishment her grey eyes gleaming with tears, Percy coughed sitting up right riptide glittering in his hand like a bronze flashlight. I stumbled away from the demigods T.J. from floor fifteen glanced at me before crouching before Magnus.

I stumbled before I collided with something spinning around I saw it was Alex, she narrowed her eyes at me before putting a finger to her lips she walked away winking at me. Suddenly I felt cool hands on my shoulders and I screamed slightly, I knew who it was before they leaned down and whispered "No idea what you did, but thank you." Nico's voice glided over my ears with a cold whisp that made me shutter.

He smiled at me and I was too freaked out to even return it before he joined his friends around Percy. Turning my head I saw Bronte crossing his arms his glare colder than arctic. Magnus stood suddenly his golden veins no longer visible but his grey eyes still shimmered as a brick of solid gold, his surprised and confused gaze met mine, his expression grew as they did.

"Sophie, a minute." Magnus said but before I could protest he grabbed my arm and dragged me to the captions quarters. He shut the door with a slam his golden eyes narrowing as he locked the door, I gasped as he walked closer the me and grabbed me by the shoulders and his eyes softened before he pulled me into a hug whispering in my hair "Thank you, so much. I never would of saved Percy if you didn't help." I gasped slightly, but wrapped my arms around him.

He cleared his throat stepping back "What did you do exactly?" He asked, I tugged and eyelashes from my eyelid and whispered "I can't tell you, Magnus. I would if I could." He frowned his golden eyes slowly dissipating to grey he leaned down and whispered "You are not human are you?" I laughed "Are we all?" He shook his head a smile playing on his face "You know what I meant." He pointed out. I nodded "No, I am not human nor demigod. But you cannot tell a soul, Magnus Chase, or you will feel the wrath of my species." He looked taken aback but nodded. He went for the door and said "If you need anything, call." I nodded and he walked out.

Following him out of the room Bronte gave me 'The Look.' That look parents give you when you are about to have a talk, part guilty and part demanding. I hate that look, I get it often though. I nodded at Bronte telling him to hang on and he motioned to the other end of the deck away from the crowd of people. Once again I nodded and Bronte began walking to the end of the unnaturaly large ship, it put the Royal Carribeans biggest ship to shame.

Slowly I parted from everyone and met up with Bronte, who was leaning against the deck lookong out to the black sea. He looked behind him when he saw me coming and said sternly "What you did was stupid, Sophie." I dropped my head slightly
"I was thinking about saving Percy, that was all."
He nodded saying "Yes, but now everyone knows you have some type of power. Expecially Magnus." I ran my fingers through my hair.
"I know I know, Bronte. I am already stressed as it I and don't have my gloves stressing me out more." I snapped slightly.

Bronte walked over to me and set his hands on my shoulder and said gebtly "Stop that, stop trying to take responsibility for something you cannot control, this is out of our hands Sophie. Kemlin is a sycopath, an elf at that too. He is smart, much more smart than I gave him credit for being. We have to find him before he finds a way to the lost cities."

"What if he does?" I asked, Bronte looked  at the group of heros then to the small group if elves
"I fear our endangered species may become extinct."
