After what Bronte said I began to crack down on the riddle future. As I was working on it with Dex, Fitz opened the door and said "I have to show you guys something." His gloved fingers tapped his thigh and we gathered our papers stowing then away in a empty drawer in his room. I took in the fact that all the elves where here a second later,
We follows Fitz out to the main room and down a corridor emerging to a dark room, with nothing in it. The quartz walls seemed an eerie gray by the light cast by a dim light in the middle of the room. Looking around I noticed all the elves were here, Tam sat crisscrossed in the middle of them holding his impather his mother's face taking up the screen. I frowned and Tam said "She found something that could be useful to us." He raised his brow at her and she cleared her throat looking down to some old book in her lap and she read
'The elder of this world shall powerful, the weak say the sixteen youth of our youth. Dead screaming sea weaken the soft hearted, the elders heart shall harden. After his flee he will be overcome at the burned remains of knowledge.'
Looking around the room Biana said "It sounds like it is after the prophecy. Sorta, Don't you think so?" Dex nodded "Just rhymes better, like a real prophecy." We all nodded and I asked "Is there a way we can get this book in our hands to show the demigods?" Linh was leaning against Hearthstone and she whispered "I can go, I want to get the bloody hell of this ship anyways." There more look taken aback by her daughters language. To be fair though, Linh has every reason to be mad.
"You are in no position or health to light leap." Tam snapped "Than leap with me." She fired back just as the boat lurched she cried out collapsing against Hearth with a cry. He caught her surprise flashing in his eyes, concern and guilt flashed in her mother's eyes. Tam sighed ending the call as he sighed "Fine, but we have to make it quick." He took her hand and dragged her out of the room a light green crystal in his hand.
The rest of us left and Hearth grabbed my wrist tugging at it gently, I reached up pressing two fingers to his temple, his thoughts filled mine 'Can I ask a question?' He asked his brows drawing together I nodded slowly and he asked swiftly 'What was that thing you did to Magnus, that made him glow like that? Heal Percy nearly from the dead?' I smiled as I transmitted 'Enhancement, one of my other abilities. It is rare for an elf to have more than one, but I have four. Maybe even more.' Surprise went over his face quickly and he twisted his fingers together tightly as he thought 'Do I have any abilities?' I shrugged transmitting 'No idea, I have no way of figuring it out.' He scanned my eyes asking 'What abilities do you have? Can you explain them to me?' I nodded sitting down on the dirty floor Hearthstone following my actions, it took me a second to notice everyone had left
'I have the following abilities telepathy, polyglot, inflicting, and enhancing. You already know what telepathy is, I mean I am using it right now. Polyglot; is I understand every language very clearly like it is my main language. Inflicting is a bit brutal and super rare; It allows me to inflict excruciating pain upon an enemy or ally. I can also do happy emotions, but I am the only inflictor who can do that. Enchanting; Allows me to enhance anyone by physical touch of the hands, friend or foe. That is why I usually wear gloves, but Fitz needs them more than I.'
Hearth's mind was silent for a moment processing all of this and he asked 'Can I know all of the others abilities?' Wouldn't hurt for him to know would it? We have to trust him, he is one of ours. 'Yeah of course, but I can't explain everyone ok?' He nodded as he waved for me to continue 'Biana is a vanisher, she can vanish into thin air. Fitz is a telepath and ammunisity.' I shuttered slightly remembering we will now have to address that as one of his abilities now 'Tam is a Shade, he controls shadows and shadow vapor. Dex is a technopath, great with technology and inventing. Linh is a hydrokinetic, the ability to control water. Keefe is an empath, the ability to feel others emotions. Bronte is a Inflictor, but he can't inflict happy emotions.'
He nodded as he thought 'I hope I don't get a destructive ability.' I smiled at him standing he followed me out of the room as soon as we emerged Leo was walking by with a handful of metal objects, he raised his eyebrows at us looking between us as if it was a hint to something--OH MY GODS. Heat shot to my face along with Hearth's and I stammered "W-we weren't doing anything just talking, I swear." Leo smirked walking away as he shouted "It is ok if you were silently talking!" For a second I thought he knew about my telepathy and went gold with fear, but I figured out he meant the other silent talking and I made an awkward squeak sound my face no doubt more red than a cherry.
Hearthstone was equally as red he walked away stuffing his hands in his pocket walking away more swiftly than I thought he was capable of, I did the same walking to the man room just as a voice echoed around the hallway 'There is no escape, no way to stop me. Come to me and see the blood of your friends on my blade.' I gasped spinning around rubbing the knot under my ribs, after a second, I shook it off as a figure of my imagination, lack of sleep. I took a deep breath emerging to the hall to see something terrifying.
A dark slimy demon holding Reyna in the air her dogs doing nothing but bouncing off its skin.
