4 1/2 Years later
"Stefan, what are you doing? Where are you taking me?" I giggle. My boyfriend had me blindfolded and told me to trust him and no use my other senses to figure out where we were going
"Not far now....here." we came to a stop he removed the blindfold. We were on the bridge in city park.
"Okay, why are we here."
" Do you remember nearly six years ago. We stood here in the dead of winter because it was snowing and you wanted to be like a child and play out." I smiled broadly at him.
"It's where I told that I had really fallen for you."
"Yes, I also think this is the perfect place and the perfect time."
"For?"
"For this?" He got down on one knee and covered my mouth, was he really going to do this.
"Jackie, life is full of bad decisions and things we ponder that what could happen if we changed it. But none of that matters when we're with each other. You have let me love again and I thank you for that. What I am trying to ask is Jacqueline Swan will you marry me?" I pulled him up into a kiss.
"Is that a yes?"
"Yes, that's a yes." I stifled a giggle. He took my hand and slipped on the sapphire ring.
