"No heart beat? No heartbeat? Is that a good thing or a bad thing when you're a vampire who used magic to get pregnant. Going against the laws of nature for our selfish desires." I freaked out walking back and forth in the flat
"Jackie, calm down. Freya, Bonnie and Davina will be here any minute."

"Calm down." I nodded and took deep breaths. The girls came in and we told them what was going on. I laid down and they started doing a bunch of tests and spells.
"Okay. You are pregnant, they are alive in a sense, they're just like you."
"What does that mean?"
"Vampire baby." Freya tells me
"What!" I shot up "100% vampire is bad enough we're talking about a baby."
"Which is why if you had let me finish, I would tell you that you have two babies radiating powerful energy. Energy that only comes from a witch. You're children are hybrids. Which kind of makes sense." Freya shrugs
"For those who aren't witches?"
"Half witch, Half vampire. Parentally and dna they're vampires because that's what you two are. But magic helped conception."
"That is so twisted." I muttered "But okay, so everything good, considering well us."
"Yeah." Davina smiles and I lean back with a sigh of relief

"Mom?" I looked up at Ansel and Charlie who was standing in the doorway to my bedroom while I was folding away pre pregnancy clothes.
"Yeah." I stopped what I was doing and giving them my full attention.
"Dad says you're having another pair of us. Don't you love us anymore?"
"What. No. Of course I love you, come here." I moved the stuff off my bed. They sat down and I knelt in front of them.
"Nothing and no one could ever replace you. Look, what I think what your Dad was trying to say that I was having twins like you two not to replace you two. Look, your brothers or sisters or one of each, I don't know. Are special just like you but as you will soon learn, no one is ever the same and no one will replace anyone. You are my boys, my first children and I will always love you. Remember what family is?"
