Melinda's P.O.V

Henry, Tafarie, Polly and I were waiting for Matt and DJ in the living room.

We stacked up on vanquishing potions and Polly hand her Shuriken which she laced with vanquishing.

When we came back only dad was there, he said they were still trying to convince Darryl to let Matt come with us.

I couldn't blame him for being skeptical, we all put Matt's life in danger.

Ever since he started to get sick we saw less and less of him, they even pulled him out of school after a while and started to home school him, it had been months since any of us saw Matt.

"You guys don't think they blame us.. right?" Polly asked guilt written all over her face, I'm sure all three of us shared that look.

"Of course they do Pols, even if they don't want to. Everything that's happened to Matt is directly because of us." Henry replied.

"And we're going to fix it, I don't care how mad at us uncle Darryl is, I just want him to give us this chance to redeem ourselves, we can save Matt if he gives us a chance." I said.

"Honey he's not mad at you, any of you, he's mad at himself for not being able to do anything, Darryl never understood our world and now that this is happening to his son he feels useless and probably feels like being over protective is the best thing to do, because its the only thing he can do." Dad said after entering the room.

I hoped that he was right and I really hoped for Matt to get better I knew he never blamed us, but that never stopped me from feeling guilty especially after how I casted that minding reading spell just to talk to Zed a few weeks ago before he escaped.

I'm going to ignore whatever feelings I have for him, Matt comes first... Matt is family.

"We're back!" Mom shouted from from the door, Polly sped to go see if Matt was with her, I knew that he was when I heard her scream his name.

Henry and I followed after her to see her embracing him.

He got so skinny and he grew out his hair to shoulder leanth. Uncle Darryl, Sheila and Dj were with them, we exchanged greetings and pleasantries.

"Matt my boy you look like a million bucks!.... after taxes." Henry said, giving him that one shoulder hug that guys did.

"Hi guys."

"We missed you." I said looking him in the eyes, as much as I tried I couldn't find any resentment in his eyes he just looked happy to see us in his usually sheepish way.

"I like your hair." Polly said.

"Me too." I said.

"He needs to get an hair cut." DJ said ruffling Matt's hair.

"Shut up, no I don't." Matt said knocking away his hand.

"Alright no time for a lengthy reunion or goodbye only a short introduction." Mom said.

"Matt and DJ this is Tafarie, their whitelighter, they'll explain what that is on the way."

"Are we taking a bus?" Matt asked excited.

"No actually, My card says we need to perform the spell in a place that has magical significance or a history linked to magic." Henry said.

"Then your in the right place." Aunt Phoebe and Paige said after orbing in with Pattoria, Coop and Henry senior.

"How did it go?" Polly asked her.

"The twins and Paisley are already helping with the warlock problem over there, Chris and Bianca wanted us to wish you luck." Pattoria said.
