Moon's P.O.V

We were still conversing in the woods when I picked up footsteps.

"Someone is coming, let's shimmer out." I said, but for some reason I couldn't shimmer and it wasn't just me.

"I can't shimmer, what's going on?" Killess asked.

"Ravv you don't think she found the girls do you?" I asked.

"What does that have to do with this?" Killess asked.

"Because if she does find them she could decide that we are no longer useful." Ravven said.

"Too true." Mauricio said, but I couldn't tell where her voice was coming from nor could I see her.

"I'm actually a little sorry that this couldn't workout, my friends would have liked to meet you three." Mauricio said.

We assumed fighting positions forming a protective circle with our backs facing each other.

"You don't wanna do this, you still need us to help you with the villagers." Kill said.

"Hah, all I need is the book and I'm already very close to getting it." Mauricio replied.

Before any of us could reply a cloud of black smoke engulfed us and we were transported to a dark, freezing cave.

"What fresh hell is this?" Kill asked.

"It's the maze ice cave she told us about, the chief used the book to create it to trap his enemies." Ravven said.

"That means there's no way out and there's a Teumessian fox about to prey on us and devour our flesh." Kill said.

"The Teumissian fox there's only one and it's destined to never be caught and the only way to escape this place is to catch it and then the magic will be undone." I said.

"Ha great just catch the mythological creature that can not be caught... great." Kill said.

"Don't panic." I said to her.

"Actually a little panic isn't totally uncalled for right now." Ravven said.

"I'm freezing." Kill said.

"Here take my shirt, half demons like myself don't feel cold." Ravven said taking off his long sleeved shirt.

"You sure looked like you felt it when that chick froze your hands." Kill said while putting on the shirt.

"Yes that was more than an uncomfortable drop in temperature, she focused on my hands and froze them from the inside out, I may not feel cold, but I am still affected by it." Ravven said then held up a fire ball.

"What I'd give to hold a fire ball right now." Kill said as I made a fire ball as well.

"This is basically a flashlight, it's doing nothing to shield us from the cold." I said as we stood there.

"So how are we going to get out of this one boys?"

"Well we either wait for the T fox to find us or we go looking for it." Revven said then I heard a low growling sound and we all looked around frantically.

"Is that it?" Kill asked gripping on to my shoulder, a pit bull on the outside and a pomeranian at heart, she was.

"It wasn't the Grinch." Ravven said as we moved towards the direction of the growl, then I noticed that the rose on my chest started to glow, the others couldn't tell because of the fireball and my shirt's material was very thick.
