"Hey Nepgear, want to play a game?"

Neptune pats the seat on the couch next to her.

Nepgear nods and sits down next to her.

"Alright, time for a game of Last Fairytale 2,716!"

The door swings open and Neptune and Nepgear direct their stares to Griffal and I.

"Doing surgery on Draq, stay out of my room, and avoid copyright!"

I slam my door, Neptune and Nepgear exchange glances...

"WHAT!"

*Beep* *Beep*

My room, now filled with a blue or... is it white, glow.

I put on my gloves and Griffal rolls a table of tools over.

I pick up the scalpel and move it towards Draq's chest.

"Dammit, my left hand keeps fidgeting and I keep dropping my scalpel. How can anyone do surgery with these controls...?" Griffal shrugs and takes out an anesthesia.

"So, how do we use this...? Do we stick it in his eye? Or his butt...?"

I pull out an instruction manual. "I can't tell... Surgeon Simulator really doesn't explain how to do anything! I think we need to open his chest, and then crack his rib cage with a bone saw, after that we need to remove all of his organs, and then replace the one organ that needs to be replaced, and he'll be magically all better... Ok, this makes no sense..." We decide that this chapter isn't getting anywhere if we don't do anything, so I, once again, picked up the scalpel and moved it towards Draq's chest. "Careful... Careful..." I slide the scalpel down his chest. *Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

"DAMMIT! They make it seem so easy in the game. Griffal, pass me my reset button."

(One Reset Later)

"Alright... Second time's the charm."

I open Draq's chest with my scalpel, blood spills out of the insertion.

"Griffal, hand me the thing that stops the bleeding." Griffal scans the table.

"The what?" I grip my scalpel. "The Needle!"

*Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

I slam my fist down onto the reset button. "Third time's the charm!"

(Insert suspenseful music here)

"Scalpel"

Griffal hands me a scalpel.

"Bone-saw"

Griffal hands me the bone-saw.

"Sandwich"

(After lunch)

"Alright, time to get serious!"

Griffal points to the life-support machine, which had flat-lined five minutes ago...

"Screw it, redo...."

(Meanwhile)

"Hey, Neptune..."

Neptune turns to Nepgear. "What's up?"

Nepgear turns to the "Surgery" room.

"Do you think they're ok? There's been screaming coming from that room for the past three hours..." Neptune listens closely to the noises from the room.

...

"Ah god! There's blood everywhere!"

"Abort! Abort!"

"You said he had protection!"

"He's wearing his armor!"

Neptune turns back to Nepgear. "I'd rather not go in there..."

"Oh god! He's erupting blood!"

(Back in the E.R)

I hit the reset button again.

"Ok, 37,596th time's the charm. Wait, what were we actually doing?"

Griffal shrugs. "We're trying to replace his heart... I guess. Didn't he have multiple flesh wounds, and he couldn't use his fire....?"

I take out the cylinder. "We've been treating the wrong thing, this entire time?!"

I bring out a table of metal and clear-glass. "Time to test out construct."

The metal scraps float into the air, the metal formed into fireproof armor.

The glass forms into flame-conducting tubes. I take out the scalpel and cut holes into Draq's back and neck, inserting the tubes into the holes. I place the chest plate on his chest and attach the tubes to the sides of the chest plate. "Griffal, I'm gonna need your help for this next part." Griffal nods, and we attach a multi-section tube into his neck, attaching it to his arm. "Alright, that should do it..."

We step out of the room and are greeted by Neptune and Nepgear.

"What the nep was going on in there?!"

Neptune walks past me, and looks into the room.

"What...?"

The room had recently gotten a new paint job.

"Yeah... You like my new paint job? Red is a great colour for walls... and floors.... And ceilings.... Yeah...."

I close my door and walks over to the kitchen. "Time for a Mountain Dew break."

Griffal steps into the kitchen. "What's Mountain Dew?"

I turn around and hand him a can. "It's only the best drink ever!"

Griffal takes a sip of the Mountain Dew, and instantly lights up.

"Oh that's that good $#!%."

I walk over to Neptune, who was on the couch, playing a game called, Yell of Purpose.

"Is this an FPS game?" Neptune nods, handing me a controller.

I take the controller and flop down onto the couch. "Oh, it's on!"

(Later)

After a long day of work. Neptune and I played FPS games all night,

Griffal drank a pile of Mountain Dew, Nepgear made tea, but no one drank it because we had Mountain Dew. My bedroom door opens, and Draq steps out.

"What happened, and why have I become Edward?"

Draq, now hooked up with his Mecha Gear, takes a seat on the couch with Neptune and I. "You may need this..." I hand him a large rock. It looked charred and was burning to the touch. "This is an igneous rock, you'll need to eat this to power your gear."

Draq takes the igneous rock and chomps down on it, his tubes lit up and lava flowed through the tubes. "Well, it seems to be working."

I stand up and stretch, walking over to the wall. "Welp, I'd better be heading out now."

Griffal, who has already finished off a case, pokes his head out from the fridge.

"Where you going?" I flash a keychain to them. "I've been invited to game night with the Author and his cats." With that, I open the portal and head through.

Griffal looks over to Draq. "He's not coming back, is he...?"

Draq stares at the spot where the portal was. "Nope."
