Chapter 26

MATT'S POV

I called Danni but she didn't respond... She always responds, unless she is mad at me... Is she mad at me? Did our date not go well? Does she not like me anymore? Or does she like Taylor more.... She can't like Taylor more... I have to call her again and hope she answers...

I go into her contact and press call.

One ring. Two rings. Then I heard her voice.

"Hello?"

"Hey Danni, you didn't answer so I got worried, is something wrong?" I spoke into my phone.

"No I'm fine" she reassures me.

"Who is it babe?" I heard another voice say... Taylor's voice.. And he called her babe.. If he is dating her, I am gonna be so pissed.

"It's just Matt" Danni said.

"Hey Danni, I, uh, gotta go" I ended the call before she could respond. I have to go over there and talk to her in person. I walked out of my bedroom and walked outside and walked straight to Danni's house. I knocked on the door and guess who answered the door, not Danni but Taylor. I walked right passed him.

"Where's Danni" I blurted.

"Her room, but why do you care, it's not like she's your girlfriend?" he smirked.

"It's not like she's your girlfriend Taylor, I doubt she would ever date you" I said, he laughed.

"Well your wrong, she is my girlfriend!" he laughed. Is he actually dating Danni? There is only one way to find out... I have to ask Danni.. I ran into her room to find her sitting on her bed, on her phone, like always. She looked up at me and got a worried look.

"Hey Mat-" I stopped her "Are you actually dating Taylor?" I sat down next to her.

She looked down at her hands. "Did Taylor tell you?" She asked, looking up at me, she now looked like she was about to burst into tears. I nodded and she sighed.

"It's true" she mumbled. "He asked me this morning and I felt like I couldn't say no, and that if I did, it would make him hate me... But now you probably hate me.."

"I don't hate you Danni, I love you" I smiled.

"You can't love me, you barely know me" she laughed.

"Yes I can, and I do. I will wait for you, as long as it takes... I will wait" I said, she just sighed.

"You wanna go do something today, as friends?" Danni asked. I nodded. I am sad that she can't be mine but I am glad that I can at least we can be friends.

"So what should we do?" I asked.

"Let's go to the movies!!!" She said excitedly.

"Okay, let's go!" I cheered. We got off her bed and walked downstairs. We ran into Taylor.

"We're going to the movies, as friends" Danni told Taylor.

"Okay, see you later babe" Taylor hugged her and walked away. We continued walking and walked outside and into her car. Danni decided that she wanted to drive there.

When we got there we had to decide on what movie we would see.

"What movi-" she interrupted me "let's see the fault in our stars!!!" She tugged on my arm "PLEEEEAAAASE" she begged.

I nodded. "Fine, we'll see your movie" I gave in. I have no idea what this movie is about so this will be interesting...
