An Unforgettable Summer

Chapter 31

DANNI'S POV

I honestly don't have any regrets telling Taylor that I will never date him. Since we broke up, I have lost most of my feelings for him... Even though we only broke up about 4 hours ago. Right now, I need to focus on the one thing that I originally came to California for... Modeling. I have only gone to one shoot so far this summer, but oh well.

I walk out of my bedroom and walk downstairs, and then outside. There is a space to sit in between Dylan and Ashton. I go and sit in between them. Ash smiled at me and draped his arm over my shoulders. I look at Dylan, her and Michael are flirting. They would be so cute together.

"Michael really likes her" Ashton whispered, looking at Dylan and Michael.

"She really likes him too," I say "they like each other, and it's pretty obvious. But the funny thing is that neither of them will make a move.."

"Yeah I guess it's kinda funny" Ash says into my neck.

"I remember when we were like that" I looked at him.

"Yeah.." He sighed.

We stared into each others eyes and before I knew it Ash was leaning in, and so was I..

"Ash" I said before our lips could touch.

"I know, I know. We shouldn't, but I just miss us together.." he sighed.

"I miss us too, but we decided that we didn't want to deal with long distance while you are on tour... As much as we want to be together, we can't" I said. Ash had a look of pure disappointment. I can't stand to see him like this. I intertwined our fingers and he looked at me. I leaned in, and he did too. When our lips met, I felt butterflies. I miss Ashton...

ASHTON'S POV

I know that Danni and I broke up for a reason but I can't stand us being apart...

"Danni" I said.

She looked up at me.

"Will you go on a date with me?" I did air quotes when I said date.

"Sure Ash, I'll go on a date with you," She paused for a second "but we should do a group date. With Dylan and Michael, because you and I both know that they need help with.... well that" she pointed at Michael and Dylan. I laughed.

"Yeah, they need help... I know that Calum likes Chloe, we can invite them to" I added.

"Well, we have to invite Luke and Blair so they can go as friends, I guess" she giggled.

"What would we all do?" I asked.

She thought for a couple seconds, "Well, we could go to the movies or maybe go to the beach or we could play mini golf or something like that" she smiled.

"Mini golf sounds fun" I said.

"Well, I can tell the girls and you tell the guys" she said.

"But I wanna tell the girls!!" I joked, she giggled.

"Finnnneeeee" I said.

"Well, once the campfire thingy ends, we can tell them" she smiled, I nodded.

When the campfire ended Danni smiled at me. "Let's go tell everybody about the group date"

We stood up and I intertwined our fingers, Danni smiled at our hands. We walked inside the house and everyone was looking at our hands.

"What's with you two?" Dylan pointed at our hands. Danni gave her a 'shut up' look.

"We wanted to tell you guys something" I smiled at Danni.

"Are you guys dating again?!?" Blair asked Danni.

"OH MY GOSH BLAIR!! No!" Danni rolled her eyes.

"We wanted to know if you guys wanted to go on a group date type thingy" Danni said.

"I'll take Chloe!!!" Calum put his arm around Chloe, "her and Carter broke up anyway"

"You and Carter broke up already?" Danni gave Chloe a sympathetic look.

"Yeah, I dumped him... We really didn't do any couple like things and I didn't really have feelings for him anyways" Chloe said.

"Ohhhh" Danni nodded.

"Okay, so Calum and Chloe, I'm guessing that Michael is gonna take Dylan?" I questioned, Michael nodded.

"That leaves Luke and Blair, you guys can go as friends if you want" Danni said.

"Wait, what are we doing?" Luke asked.

"Mini golf" I said.
