An Unforgettable Summer

Chapter 23

SAM'S POV

I was texting Danni and ended up asking if she would go on a date with me, I went to click backspace but accidentally clicked the send button. I didn't get a response at first but it said that she read it. About 5 minutes later, I got an answer.

Danni: I want to say yes but I have to work things out with Matt and Taylor before I can go on a date with you. It's not a no but it's not a yes for now.

Me: okay, maybe after you figure out your problems then we can have that date😉

Danni: thanks for understanding☺️😉

I decided to stop texting her and actually go see her. I walked across the street and knocked on the door, Ashton answered.

"Hey, is Danni here?" I asked.

"No, she is on a date with Matt..." Ash said in a jealous tone. I am the only one that knows that Ash still liked Danni after their 'breakup'. They only broke up because Ashton was touring because of 5 seconds of summer, and they didn't really wanna deal with a long distance thing.

"Well, there is no point in going back to the o2l house now, I'll just stay here with you." I said. I walked in the house and sat down on the couch. We just talked for a while as we waited for Danni and Matt.

MATT'S POV

Danni and I decided to go on our date now since it is only like 3pm. I told her to dress casual and bring a swimsuit. After 5 minutes, I walked to her house -I wanted to surprise her and come 45 minutes early and just talk to her as she got ready- and I walked into her bedroom quietly. She was just in a bra and shorts, she was looking at the shirts in her dresser. She was looking at her dresser so she didn't know I was here.

I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist tightly. I felt her get goosebumps when my hands touched her skin. She turned around quickly and had a look of relief when she saw me.

"Get out of my bedroom until I'm done changing." She pointed to the door, I just turned around. I heard her sigh and then about 5 minutes later, she pulled me into a hug.

"I'm done, you can see me now" she smiled. I sat down on her bed as she started getting ready.

"So what are we doing on our date?" She asked.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out later." I winked.

"That's not fair Matt" she frowned at me.

"I never said that I was fair" I laughed.

"Then I won't be fair either" she smirked, what did I just get myself into... She pulled out her phone and texted someone. 2 minutes later, Taylor walked in the room.

"You said that you needed me do do something, what is it?" Taylor asked Danni.

"Yeah, I need you to kiss me right now" Danni put her arms around Taylor's neck. Taylor looked at me for a second and then crashed his lips into Danni's. They kissed for at least a minute and then stopped, thankfully. But then they just kissed again but this time, more intense... I just left the room.

TAYLOR'S POV

When Danni asked me to kiss her, I couldn't say no. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I crashed my lips into hers. We kissed for a minute and then pulled apart. We caught our breath and Danni kissed me again, of course I kissed back. I noticed that Matt left the room. I pulled her closer to me and she smiled into the kiss and so did I. After a while, we pulled apart.

Danni just stared into my eyes.

"Sorry Taylor, but I have to get ready for a date with Matt now" she frowned.

"It's okay, see ya babe" I smiled.

"I'm starting to like the whole 'babe' thing" she winked at me.

I left the room and ran into Matt.

"Hey Matt, I have something that you should know" I said.

"What is it." He asked.

"I think you just lost your chance with Danni" I smirked, and with that, I left the house.
