Chapter 9

Hollis's POV
I was sitting in the living room watching for Chandler walk up to my house and that he was about to knock, so I just waved at him to come in.
I heard the door open and close, I even heard the lock click.
I didn't bother waiting for Chandler to step into view because I just ran up to him and hugged him tightly, while I cried into his shoulder.
"I don't want to move away Chandler."
"I don't want that either, but it's what's best for you."
"I'm going to miss you, but maybe my grandparents will let me come visit you during summer break."

Chandler pulled away from the hug, lifted my head up and wiped away my tears.

Hollis and I kissed for at least ten minutes before we pulled away and Chandler gave me a second kiss which lasted three minutes.
"That was for good luck."
"Thank you."

Chandler's POV
I watched as Hollis walked out the front door but paused before and turned around to wave goodbye to me, he also blew me a kiss and then continued on his way.
I watched as he got into the car that would drive him off to his grandparents house and waved goodbye.
I started to cry as he drove off into the sunset.
"Goodbye my sweet prince. I know you can't hear me right now, but I just want to let you know that I can't wait until your visit in the summer."

3 hours later...

Hollis's POV

The car started to swerve and rammed through a safety barrier and and fell into a river.
The car quickly sank and both the driver and passenger were unconscious.

Sometime later...
I woke up in the hospital and could barely move a muscle. I tried to sit up, but one of the doctors helped me lie down and told me that it would be awhile before I was back on my feet, he also told me that if I tried to move like I did again I would either become paralyzed or I would die.
I asked him if I could make a phone call, but told me that since I was under water for twenty-five minutes and that it was a miracle that I was revived, but he also told me that my phone wasn't working.
"Can...I use a...hospital...phone...please?"
Right after I asked that I passed out.

18 minutes later...
The doctors and nurses managed to revive me again and brought me a phone so I could make my phone call.

Chandler's POV
My phone started to ring and didn't recognize the caller ID, but I answered it anyway just in case it was Hollis.
"Ch...Chandler?"
"Hollis?"
"Ye...yeah, it's me."
"Are you ok?"
"No."
"What happened?"
"My driver and I had an accident and fell into a river. The driver didn't survive, but I did somehow. We were under water for twenty-five minutes, now I'm in the hospital. I'm in serious pain and don't know if I'll make it."
When I heard the news I started to cry.
"I've passed out quite a few times and I'm not sure if I'll survive. I have six broken ribs and three of them have punctured my lungs. The other three are broken completely."
I started to cry even harder.
"What hospital are you at?"
"I don't know. Remember if I die I want you to move on and not to mourn."
"No. I'm not going to let you die. I'm going to come to the hospital you're at and help you pull through by giving you a blood transfusion, even if it means I have to die."
"I love...you Chandler."
I could hear that flatline sound, dropped my phone, fell onto the couch and cried for a few hours before I received another phone call from the same caller ID.
"Am I speaking to Chandler?"
"Yes you are."
"I'm just calling to say that I'm sorry for your loss."

A/N: Hollis may be dead for now, but make sure you stay tuned to see if he makes a surprising return just like Mason did. The next chapter may be unlikely, but remember this is a fanfiction. I know that I should keep things realistic, but I want to make this fanfic as interesting as possible.
