That morning I woke up normally.
I stood up, I stretched, I yawned. But when I opened my eyes, I saw a big difference.

Color. most of it was gone.

I blinked a couple times, but that didn't fix it.

I was so confused. Could it have been from me crying?

"Hiccup, your awake. I'm making breakfast." She pat the ground. "Come on."

'What, was she saying?" I thought.
I walked over to her and sat down.

Blinked a few time, shook my head, then started rubbing my face with my paws not caring that I fell down.
I Started rubbing my closed eyes on the soft grass.

"Hiccup, is everything okay?" Astrid Asked.
Astrid put her hand under my head and lifted me up.

She looked into my eyes.
My eye color was fading.
"I think we need to see Gothi."

Toothless walked back up from the pond with fish.
'Is everything okay?'

'I don't know, it's my eyes. I.. i can't see color."

'Umm, what's color?'

'Y-you don't know what color is?'

'Sorry, I don't know many human things.'

Oh, Toothless has never been human, He has never seen color before.
I thought.

'What is color?'

'Well, i don't know how to explain it. I'll try.
It's like, bright Beautiful, rays of light that, I guess make everything better.'

'Oh, sort of like the bright lights I see in my dreams, let me think, I've seen, r-r-red? I think it's called?'

'Yeah. So you have seen colors.'

Toothless nodded.
'I guess'

Later

Astrid stood up and walked towards the exit.
'What's she doing? She knows I can't fly.' Toothless Said.

I walked over to her. I looked at Toothless then back at Astrid. I flapped my wings then looked back at Toothless.

'Lift your tail.'

Toothless lifted his tail.

"You can't fly. Hold on."

Astrid walked over to Toothless and stood at his side.

I sighed.
I walked over to her and nudged her on him.

I finally got the peddle switched over to a regular sized food holder.

She figured it out really quickly.

She clicked the peddle to the right angle.
Toothless flew up onto higher land.

Astrid hopped off.

'Okay Toothless, can you push down a tree?'

'Yeah?'

'I need you to do that and make it into a ramp from up there to down here.'

'Okay.'

I heard a snap, and a Giant log rolled over to the edge.
Before it rolled off, Toothless turned it where the leaves were at his level and the trunk was where I was.

I climbed up slowly because I didn't want the tree to snap.

Once I got on good level Astrid said something making me and Toothless look she waved her hand to follow.

We arrived at the village.
There wasn't many people up because it was still pretty early.

We sneaked around the village. And at the edge of the village hanging partly off a cliff was Gothi's hut.

When nobody was looking, Astrid ran around and knocked on the door.

Gothi answered and Astrid signaled us in.

It was like she was staring into My soul.
She looked deeply into my eyes. When my eyes were dilated enough, she poked them with a swab.

'Ouch'

Gothi chuckled. 'Works every time.' She Said.

She pulled out her microscope.

Not even 3 minutes later.
She turned around and wrote. Since I couldn't read she spoke it in Dragon language while she wrote.

'Hiccup is color blind.' She Said/wrote

We heard a knock on the door.

Gothi cracked it open slightly.

The other dragon riders and there dragons were outside.

They ran inside when they noticed two Night Furys.

Sorry for the odd ending. I'm running out of ideas. But I'll get one soon.
