13|The Children Against Grounders

Adhaya completely had forgotten she was shot, and when Bellamy looked at her seeing that she was walking just fine it confused him but they needed to find the others so he didn't question it. "We're going after Finn, Clarke and Monty. We don't abandon our own." Bellamy said making Adhaya smiled sadly at the new leadership. Jasper, out of nowhere, jumped up and hugged him.

"Thank you. This is a long way from 'whatever the hell we want'. Jasper said pulling back.

"All gunners, we've got movement outside the south wall! Someone's coming!" Miller shouted making everyone be in high alert making Adhaya quickly try to see what's happening but Bellamy grabbed her.

"Wait! Hold your fire! It's Clarke and Finn!" Someone shouted making everyone hold, Adhaya walked towards the entrance seeing Clarke and Finn jog in.

"We heard an explosion. What happened?" Clarke asked instantly looking at Adhaya and Bellamy.

"Someone let a bomb into the party." Adhaya answered bitterly as Jasper walked up and pulled Clarke into a hug.

"Thank god! Where's Monty." Jasper asked as he pulled away.

"Monty is missing?" Clarke question seeing how she didn't not know this information.

"Clarke we have to go now! All of us do. There is an army of Grounders, unlike anything we've seen before. They are coming right now. We need to pack anything we can and run." Finn spoke up in a panic and rush making Adhaya look at him.

"Like hell we are, we knew this was coming." Bellamy argued crossing his arms over his chest.

"Bell... we're not prepared." Octavia spoke up looking at him.

"And they are not here yet. We still have time to get ready. Besides where would we go?" Bellamy asked and Finn had a answer.

"There's an ocean to the east. Where people can help us." Finn said making Adhaya gulp.

"Can, that word can go one or two ways. Dead or alive then dead." Adhaya stated looking at him, she agreed with Bellamy which surprised him. She was still sadden about what he had done but this was a different problem that doesn't apply her feelings.

"You saw Lincoln." Octavia realised and Clarke nods.

"You expect us to trust a Grounder? This is our home now! We build this with nothing but our bare hands!" Bellamy yelled.

"Bellamy, that Grounder saved my life." Adhaya stated making them all look at her with the new news. Bellamy looked as if he was going to say something but Adhaya spoke again. "Bellamy is right, this is our home, just like we do not abandon our own, we do not abandon the work we have done. We fight for it!" She said looking at everyone. "We fight for our own, it does not matter that we come from the sky, the point is that we are on the ground now." She said aloud.

"And that means we are Grounders!" Bellamy added making everyone cheer raising their weapons. "I say let 'em come!"

"They are right, if we leave we may never find a safe place like this one. And god knows, in this world, we could be faced with something worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact that if we stay here, we will die tonight. So pack your things. Just take what you can carry. Now." Clarke ordered making Adhaya look at her in disbelief.

"Help me." Raven gasped as he holds her stomach in pain as Clarke went over to her but Bellamy stopped her for just a bit.

"Leaving here is a mistake. Crowds make bad decisions, just ask Murphy. Leaders do what they think is right." Bellamy said to her.

"I am." Clarke said after a few minutes and walked away as Bellamy went to his tent but stopped and turned around to look at Adhaya whom walked over to him.
