Chapter 8: Sounds Like A Plan

(Statesman Conference Room)

A little while after Harry left Eggsy in his room, the agents were called to the Conference Room. Eggsy walked in to see Harry, Merlin, Alfie, Tequila, Linda, Ginger, Whiskey, and Champ all sitting at the table.

"Ah Eggsy, glad you could join us," Merlin said as Eggsy sat down, "Now as I was about to say, yesterday when the Red Fox infiltrated our Headquarters in London,

(Flashback)

"I was able to place a tracker on her before she ran."

Red Fox had just disabled Harry and Merlin and was about to run when she felt a hand on her shoulder pulling her back. She turned to see that it was Merlin trying to hold her back. Immediately, she took his wrist and threw him over her shoulder and into the wall. Having taken care of him, she started to run out of the hall when Merlin quickly set his watch to 'TRACKER' and shot one out of it, and it landed on the back of Red's shoulder. So she ran out of the base with a micro tracker on the back of her shoulder.

(Present Day)

"So before I fell unconscious, I activated the tracker with my watch. And when we arrived here in Kentucky, I looked up the tracker's location and tracked it to a secret base in Wyoming. After multiple attempts and with help from Agent Scotch, we were able to hack into their security system."

After finishing his piece, he handed things over to Ginger.

"Yes, but their security system is massively complex," Ginger said taking the reins, "But as Merlin said, we were able to get in and found out who's behind all this. Rocky Rhodes."

"Rocky Rhodes?" Tequila asked.

"Like the ice cream?" Whiskey added, "That is way too much of a coincidence."

 "That's what I thought," Lindsey said letting out a small laugh.

This made everyone in the room crack a laugh. When they were finished, Ginger regained her composure before continuing.

"Anyway, yes Rocky Rhodes. Graduated from NYU, and became a very promising wrestler. Did a few fights in illegal fight clubs. They called him The Rock.(A/N: Ya see what I did right there? LOL!) But after that, he became an Agent of the CIA." 

"He was let go because of his recklessness, and inability to comply with direct orders, and has since sworn revenge on them for letting him go. We also found that they have two hostages. President James Wilson, and Dr. Martha Lewis. We were also able to get some footage which reveals his plans."

Ginger tapped away at her clipboard/tablet and a video came up on their monitor.

It was of Rocky in his office with Red Fox by his side with the President and Dr. Lewis tied to a couple of seats in front of Rocky's desk.

"The first nuke'll hit the Pentagon, the next one will hit The White House and then I'll take charge of everything. The Secret Service, FBI, DEA, the US Army, DSS, and of course, the CIA. All we need is for the people at the British Institute to deliver that signal disrupter, with that piece of tech, they won't be able to bring those nukes down. And then I'll be in charge of everything, I'll be giving the orders. And no one is gonna stop from accomplishing this. No one."

"And what about us?" Dr. Lewis asked, "When all this madness is done, what'll happen to us?"

This put a smug grin on Rocky's face. He got up and walked over to them and squatted in front of Dr. Lewis.

"Well Doc, maybe we can work something out," He said moving his hand uncomfortably close to her chest area. This made Harry grind his teeth. This man had absolutely no respect for women. If he had any respect at all. But he was pleased when he saw the good doctor spat in Rocky's face and headbutted the man, making him stand up swiftly and wipe the saliva from his face. Now he was pissed. Once he wiped it off, he swiftly slapped the doctor on the cheek. "You need to learn some goddamn manners, you bitch."

He walked back to his desk leaving her with a bright red mark on her face.

"Red take them back to their cells, I gotta go clean up."

The video ended with a final shot of Red dragging the chairs out of the room with the President and the doctor still in them. This left the whole room in silence. This man that they were up against was ruthless and more deadly than any enemy that they'd ever gone up against. Valentine, Poppy, they were nothing compared to this guy.

"Ok, it goes without saying that we need to take this prick down," Champ said breaking the silence.

"Indeed," Harry added, "So what are we going to do."

"I've got an idea," Eggsy said, "We need to tell the US Agencies and the White House to evacuate in case this doesn't work. But Merlin and Ginger we're gonna need you to disable the security systems long enough for us to get in undetected."

"Got it, but like Ginger said, the system is massively complex so you'd only have a 15-second window to get in."

Eggsy looked at Tequila and Harry who nodded back at him. "I think we can make that work, but for the delivery, it's gonna need to be a bomb instead of a signal disruptor. Now all we're gonna need is some guys to play our delivery boys."

This had them thinking, they didn't want to risk the lives of any actual delivery boys. But they didn't know who.

"I'll do it," Alfie said attracting everybody's attention "If Whiskey doesn't mind being the second delivery boy."

Champ looked at Whiskey who nodded in agreement.

"OK, now after you two deliver the bomb, come find us in a nearby coffee shop," Ginger said referring to her, Merlin and Lindsey, "We'll guide you guys from there."

"Harry, we're gonna need you to play as an old man in front of the guards and cause a distraction while me and Tequila make it to the surveillance room and take out the guard in there." 

"Understood."

"Ok, everyone knows the plan and their parts?" Champ asked. Everyone nodded in agreement. "Alright, we leave tomorrow morning.  Everybody get some rest. Dismissed."

This was a hard chapter to do because I had to make up a very complex battle plan. I'm probably gonna have to look back at this multiple times when I write the infiltration and action scenes. Anyway the next chapter is gonna feature some real REggsy love and friendship. So you'll be getting a good dose of REggsy soon. Bye.
