Chapter 16: Crazy Flight

Private Airstrip

The engines had been started and the propellers were turning as Rocky and his men were getting ready for take off when they all heard gunshots.

Soon, their eyes came upon a delivery truck coming towards them and the sounds of the gunshots were coming from the truck.

"Take off right now!" Rocky demanded.

The pilots complied as they pushed forward on a lever to increase speed as they went down the runway.

Naturally they took cover and fired back. Rocky threw Eggsy down and joined his men in firing at the truck. After a few bullets fired, one of them fired into the grill of the truck and it blew up. They let out a few growls of pride. Satisfied as well, Rocky went into the cab of the plane along with some other guards. But a few of them stayed down to keep an eye on Eggsy and the nuclear case.

As they left, Eggsy face turned into a smirk. They just fell for something that he and Tequila thought up months ago. And it got even better from there. He felt a change in gravity and was leaning to his side a bit. Looking to the back of the plane, he saw that they were leaving the ground and fast. And soon, his smirk turned into a smile when he saw two people jump in from the sides of the ramp doorway and another rolled down just as the ramp door closed and shot the guards. It was Tequila, Harry, and Alfie! And fortunately, they had silencers on.

Swiftly, the agents ran over to Eggsy with Tequila taking out a pocket knife.

"Hang on, partner," He said to Eggsy, cutting him free and helping him up.

"Fuck! That feels a lot beh'er," he exclaimed rubbing his wrists, "Thanks guys."

"No problem, Eggs. But this rodeo ain't over yet," Tequila stated before nodding to Alfie. The lad nodded and smiled back before tapping and adjusting his new Kingsman Issue glasses.

"We got 'im!" He said.

"Roger that, Alfie," Merlin replied on the other end, "We're right behind you."

Outside the plane, Merlin was flying the jet and put it on autopilot. He got up and walked into the coach of the jet.

"Roxy, are you ready?" He asked the former agent.

She stood up and nodded. For some reason, she felt like she'd done this before. "Ready." She let out a nervous sigh. "Let's do this, guys..."

"-Open 'er up."

"Got it, Roxy," Alfie replied before pushing the button to open the ramp door. As it did, they saw the Kingsman jet flying at least 200 hundred feet above them.

The para-door opened and Roxy looked down to the large plane and the earth below.

Taking a deep breath and thinking of Eggsy, she jumped out. She screamed out of fear. But as she fell through the air, she thought she saw Eggsy falling with her. Telling her that it's okay, helping her with her fear.
