(Mooseberg, Wyoming)
Eggsy and Tequila poked their heads up from behind a side of a building to see two men sitting on both sides of a door, obviously guards. The structure they were guarding was an old looking bookstore called Rocky Mountain Pages.
"That is just too f**kin' obvious. It's a dead giveaway," Tequila stated with a laugh.
"No shit," Eggsy smiled in agreement. He looked around to make sure that it was OK for them to go to work. But other than the few civilians that were walking down the sidewalks and the snowplow trucks, everything seemed fine. "Ok, let's go."
They walked out of the alley, crossed the street, and walked towards the Library. Not too far behind them, Harry, dressed in an old hermit outfit, followed inconspicuously as they went in. Once inside, they acted like regular customers.
"Can I help you guys with anything?" the lady at the desk asked them.
"Oh, no that's OK. We're just gonna look around for a bit, but thanks." Tequila replied.
So they looked around amongst the different shelves when Eggsy came his favorite book.
"Oh shit!" He exclaimed as he pulled it off the shelf, "They've got My Fair Lady!"
"You like My Fair Lady?"
"Well, I can relate to it. Plus it's good material."
Tequila nodded and shrugged at his partner's fascination with this book. He couldn't judge. He was 26 and still liked comics, so who was he to judge. With that on his mind, he searched for some comics. Preferably Marvel, he was a huge Marvel. Particularly the X-Men and Wolverine. He kept on thinking about superheroes until he found a shelf loaded with comics. Immediately, he found one on the X-Men and started looking through it.
The two agents stayed interested in their books until a delivery truck pulled up outside. The truck was had the British Institute of Technology Logo on it, and inside the truck sat Alfie and Whiskey. Whiskey was ready for action as he looked past Alfie and at the bookstore. But he turned his vision to Alfie when he saw that he was shaking in his seat. Not because of the cold, but because of how nervous he was about this whole thing was gonna end.
"You OK, kid?" Whiskey asked.
"Ya know, when I came to visit my cousin, both me and my Mum thought I was just gonna hang out with Eggsy and go home with pictures and stories to tell," Alfie replied with a chuckle, "But she's never gonna believe that I got shot at, handled a gun, and fought people."
"That bother you?"
"No, actually. I kinda like this and I just hope I'm alive to enjoy it anotha' day."
That made Whiskey smile, this kid had guts. Came to town for a vacation, but was willing to help out even if it meant his life. Cause it kinda did at this point.
"Don't worry, kid. We'll be alright," he said with his southern accent showing.
"Thanks, Jack," Alfie replied with a smile, "Now let's get in there and deliver this package."
Whiskey nodded before he opened the door behind them that led to the back of the truck and picked up a medium sized box and handed it to Alfie. With his heart pounding, he took a few deep breaths before opening the door into the cold and into the bookstore.
Eggsy and Tequila's attention was pulled away from their books as they heard the bell jingle as the door opened.
"Hi, what can I help you with today?" The lady at the desk asked.
"Hello, delivery from the British Institute of Technology." Alfie placed the box on the counter and handed the lady a clipboard with a form on it for her to sign. As she signed the form, Alfie looked over to Eggsy and Tequila and gave them a quick nod, to which they replied with a nod and a thumbs up.
